Ruth Brunner is an author, counsellor, and creative guide whose work explores belonging, difference, and the quiet power of creative flow.
Raised in Switzerland with early messages of “not being good enough,” Ruth grew up feeling out of place — an experience that later became a catalyst rather than a constraint. Following an inner knowing, she travelled across cultures and continents before finding her way back to her own creative voice.
In 2020, Ruth stepped away from counselling practice to complete a creative Honours thesis in autoethnography at Southern Cross University, exploring creativity, identity, and self-expression. This work laid the foundation for her first book, Uniquely You.

There’s relief after the launches.

What now?
One I don’t rush to answer.

Another day looked like this:

Day in the life of a writer.
Making tea.
Letting the words rest.
Trusting they’ll speak again when needed.

And then there are days where life itself seems to gather quietly in the background, conversations, plans, events, ordinary moment
