AUTHOR BIO
Megan Keith is a married, mother of three, living in a small country town in New South Wales, Australia. She has a constant thirst for a good story, whether it is in books, music, movies, on TV, or just plain old-fashioned gossip. She has always had a creative side and loves to let her imagination run wild. On a few occasions over the years, Megan has put those imaginings into a written story, but never dreamed of publishing. She has always loved to read, but it wasn't until she got given a Kindle that it became a full-blown addiction. Her introduction to the world of Indie Authors re-ignited her passion for writing and she has spent the past ten months working on what was supposed to be one book, but has now turned into three. Finding My Way is the first of the trilogy, and is also her debut self-published novel.

Amazon Top 10 New Adult Books - June 30, 2013

1. Damaged 2 by H.M. Ward: "Home isn't supposed to be dangerous, but for Sidney it is. Returning home means that she has to face her past. It's not just the man who hurt Sidney that makes it horrible, but the family that didn't believe her. They were dead to her, but now that her mom is really dying things seem different. It's a chance to set things right. What Sidney doesn't realize is that she's dragging Peter into a collision course with his past."

2. Conquer Your Love by J.C. Reed: "Brooke Stewart, a Realtor in New York, finds forgetting is hard, but forgiving is harder. When the man she trusted, betrayed her, the only way to forget is to move on. Brooke is determined to start a new life, until she meets him again: the green-eyed, sexy as sin, six foot two sex god. The man who played dirty. The man who played her. Sexy, handsome, and arrogant Jett Mayfield knows he has made mistakes."

3. Damaged by H.M. Ward: "Life sucks. And, as soon as Sidney picks up the pieces something always knocks her back onto her butt. It's never pretty, but this time is different. This time pretty isn't even the right word. Peter is the personification of perfection. It's like he fell off his angel perch in purgatory, because let's face it--any guy that hot has got to be naughty. He was probably sent here to ruin her life."

4. Falling Into You by Jasinda Wilder: "I wasn't always in love with Colton Calloway; I was in love with his younger brother, Kyle, first. Kyle was my first one true love, my first in every way. Then, one stormy August night, he died, and the person I was died with him. Colton didn't teach me how to live. He didn't heal the pain. He didn't make it okay. He taught me how to hurt, how to not be okay, and, eventually, how to let go."

5. The Game Changer by J. Sterling: "Jack appeared at my door last night after six months of no communication wearing a Mets jersey and holding a dozen red roses. He told me he was sorry, that he loved me, and that he would earn my trust again. It took everything in me to not fall apart at the mere sight of him. I wanted to take him back into my life, but I needed to know that this time it would be forever."

6. Him by Carey Heywood: "Sarah Miller hasn't been home in seven years. She thought she could stay away forever. If it wasn't for her big brother's wedding, that is. Part of her even feels silly for staying away this long. It's not like anyone even knew what happened. Well, except for him. That guy. The one she compared all others to. The one who set the bar so high no other guy after him could even compete. All she needs to do is make it through the next week without running into him."

7. Falling Into Us by Jasinda Wilder: "Becca de Rosa is Nell's best friend. When Kyle died, Nell was so devastated that no one could reach her, not even her best friend Becca. As she tries to help Nell through her grief, Becca's own life is thrust into turmoil, and everything she knows is changed. Jason Dorsey asked Nell out the week after her sixteenth birthday, but that date never happened. Instead, he ended up going out with Nell's best friend, Becca."

8. Playing for Keeps (The Game, #2) by Emma Hart: "She's in love with him. He's trying not to love her. One night changes everything. Aston Banks never meant to get close to Megan Harper - not even for that one night. Haunted by a childhood he refuses to face, he knew she could break through every wall he'd ever built and tear them down without even realizing she was doing it."

9. Before Now (Sometimes Never) by Cheryl McIntyre: "Park Reed is a bastard in every sense of the word. He hasn't always been this way. But after his heart was broken by the only girl he ever loved, being heartless gets him through the day and allows him to fill his nights with the nameless girls he has no intentions of seeing again. He now lives his life following the ever-growing list of "life lessons." Lucy Braden is everything Park is not."

10. The Arrangement by H. M. Ward: "Just when she doesn't think things could get any worse, they do. When her car stalls out at a busy intersection and she gets out to check under the hood, a guy steals her car. Armed with a dress and a pair of Chucks, Avery runs after the thief. When a hot stranger offers to help, she can't say no. That's how Avery meets Sean Ferro, the totally sexy, totally damaged guy with more secrets than she has time for."

Playing For Keeps: Excerpt & Giveaway!
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Emma Hart, comes the second book in The Game series, and the story everyone wanted after The Love Game…
She's in love with him.
He's trying not to love her.
One night changes everything.
Aston Banks never meant to get close to Megan Harper – not even for that one night. Haunted by a childhood he refuses to face, he knew she could break through every wall he’d ever built and tear them down without even realizing she was doing it.
Betraying Braden by starting a relationship with Aston wasn't on Megan’s to-do list, but the second she sees a glimpse of someone other than the arrogant ass she’s come to know, she can’t walk away.
Aston’s childhood is worse than Megan ever guessed, but as he tries and fails to push her away, it’s clear her love is stronger than the demons that cling to him every day. And now, because of it, he finally has to deal with what he’s buried deep down.
What he doesn't want to face. What he’s fought against for so long.
And they have to do it all without Braden finding out.
Keeping a relationship secret has never been harder.
**This book can be read as a standalone novel, but reading The Love Game (The Game, #1) beforehand is advised.**
My thoughts: Ok, Playing for Keeps is Aston and Megan’s story, both of them feature in Book 1 in the series ~ The Love Game.
Aston is Braden’s totally hot best friend who happens to be a complete man whore and Megan is practically Braden’s sister and a good friend to Maddie but there is more to Aston than meets the eye ~ there is a reason why he behaves the way he does..... but what is it? Well you are going to have to read Playing for Keeps to find out ~ I don’t believe in putting spoilers in my reviews :)
I gave Playing for Keeps 4 hearts ~ I really enjoyed this book, having said that I wasn’t addicted to it, I could easily put it down and pick it back up. I totally felt for Aston in this book and if I were Megan I would of been there for him no matter what ~ plus he is so freaking hot! It wasn’t quite a 5 for me and that’s simply because I wasn’t hooked but one thing I am glad about is that there was no break up and make up ~ that seems to be in so many books and I was pleased that it didn’t happen in this one.
So well done Emma on another successful book and I am looking forward to Abbie and Blake’s story in book 3. :)

ASTON:
“You okay?”
I shake my head. “No. Every time. Every fucking time he brings her up. I thought he wouldn't in front of you, but he did.”
“He has his own pain,” she says softly. “It doesn't excuse it, but he does. He feels guilty for what happened to you – that he couldn't stop it.”
My mind reels for a second and I look down at her. “He told you that?”
She nods, letting her hand drop from my back and standing in front of me. I stop.
“You've never let him tell you.” She reaches up and cups my face. “He hurts, too, Aston. You both hurt. It’s not something that will go away, but you can’t let it rule your lives. If you let pain rule you you’ll get lost in it.”
“What if I’m already lost?”
“You’re not lost. You’re hiding, but you’re not lost. I won’t let you get lost.”
I let my hands come up and rest on her back, pulling her into me. “What if there’s no map?”
“Then I’ll get lost with you,” she whispers. “I won’t let you let them win, Aston. I won’t let you get sucked in by those demons. I won’t let that happen. I care too much.”
And she does. I can hear it in her voice.
She wraps her arms around my neck, and I hold her to me tighter, our foreheads resting against each other.
“I’ll try, Megs,” I promise. “I can’t say I won’t, but as long as you’re here, I think I’ll be okay.”
“And you’ll talk to your Gramps? Just once?”
“I’ll think about it. How about we just focus on stopping me from getting lost for a bit?”
“You just need a place to aim for, that’s all. You need a place to go to.”
“Go on then.” I smile. “Give me a place.”
“Okay.” She pauses for a second, closing her eyes and chewing her lip.
“I’m waiting…” I tease her.
Her blue eyes open, shocking me with their vitality. “Aim for the moon, because even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”
“I don’t need to aim for the sky. The only star I’ll ever need is standing right in front of me.” I brush my lips over hers. “Maybe the place I need to aim for is nowhere other than where I am right now.”
“Maybe I’d go with you wherever you ended up.”
“Maybe I’d never ask that of you.”
“Maybe you wouldn't need to ask. Maybe you’ll never need to ask me for anything, because I’ll always be here.”

Cover Reveal & Giveaway: Dear Rock Star
Dear Rockstar by Emme Rollins: The best things in life are crazy…
Sara is obsessed with rock star Tyler Vincent, and as she works to complete her senior year, she’s determined to find a way to meet him—although her best friend, Aimee, keeps telling her to find a different escape from her desperately violent home life.
Complications arise when Dale, the mysterious new transfer student, sets his sights on Sara, and she falls for this rock-star-in-the-making in spite of her better judgment. When Sara wins a contest, she is faced with a choice—travel to Tyler Vincent’s home town to meet him, or stay and support Dale in a Battle-of-the-Bands hosted by MTV.
Their triangulated relationship is pushed to its breaking point, but there is another, deeper secret that Dale’s been keeping that just may break things wide open...
Turn up your collar, feather your hair, and splash on some Polo, because we’re going back to the ‘80’s when MTV played music videos, there was no such thing as American Idol, and becoming a star meant doing nothing short of crazy for that one, big break.
Emme Rollins is an up and coming author of New Adult/Mature Young Adult fiction. She’s been writing since she could hold a crayon and still chews her pen caps to a mangled plastic mess. She did not, however, eat paste as a kid.
She has two degrees, a bachelor’s and a master’s, one of which she’s still paying for, but neither of which she uses out in the “real world,” because when she isn’t writing, she spends her time growing an organic garden to feed her husband and children (and far too many rabbits and deer!) where they live on twenty gorgeous forested acres in rural Michigan.
She loves tending her beehives (bees are wonderful pollinators and Hello!? Honey!) and keeping up with her daily yoga practice and going for long walks in the woods with her boxer, Rodeo, who loves chasing squirrels almost as much as Emme loves writing!
Emme loves hearing from fans, so feel free to use the contact page on her site to connect with her.

My thoughts: This is one of the books that I have so been looking forward to and let me say that I wasn't disappointed in the slightest... Now you can read the blurb so you don’t need me to go over that and I never list any spoilers in my reviews as I personally feel “well whats the point in reading it now” so let me just say that prior to reading this book I was Team Mason all the way and Ash did nothing for me what so ever but due to various things that happen in this book (which I’m not going in to) I am torn between the two, now looks-wise Mason so does it for me.... he is so flipping hot, very alpha male ;) and I always thought that Ash was a womanizer who was actually quite wet and soppy, however I think because of what happens I was thinking more along the lines of Team Ash but I have resigned myself to the fact I’m going to remain in the middle until book 3, or I could be both Team Mason & Team Ash, lol.
Now that I've talked about the two hotties in this book we move on to Scarlett who is still a very likable character and dealing with the grief of losing her best friend and 8 months on returns to pick up the pieces and where she left off only nothing ever goes smoothly and has to overcome many obstacles along the way.
So all in all I totally loved this book, it had me gripped and I couldn't put it down... I only hope that Erin doesn't keep us waiting to long and in all honesty I’m wondering where its going to go from where it ended....you’ll know what I mean when you have read it!!
So what are you waiting for? Go and start reading asap!!! :)
Erin congratulations on another amazing book and don’t keep us waiting too long until the next installment :)

Excerpt:
ASH
She let me kiss her. She didn't argue with me when I told her that we would never say goodbye. She smiled, just slightly but it was still a smile, when I called her my Psyche. I couldn't focus on all of the other things she said. I knew she was angry and hurt; she had every right to be. I had tried to deny what she meant to me one too many times, and I was still afraid the last time may have cost me her forever.
But finally I had something I hadn't had in a long time ~ hope. Despite her hateful words and lashing out, I finally felt a semblance of the peace I could only find in her presence. I didn't know what my next move was, but I sure the fuck wasn't giving up. After experiencing a life without her in it, I would never give up on her. I would never give up on us.

Interview: Toski Covey Photography
SRNA: Thank you so much for taking the time to answer a few questions for our readers!
Toski- Thank you so much for asking to interview me, I feel so important:)
SRNA: How did you get started designing book covers?
Toski- Being kind and complementing someone you have nothing to gain from can go A LONG WAY. This is the true story.
I am an avid reader- I follow Maryse Black's book blog. I had read this unknown authors book called Metamorphosis (which I bought with it having NO ratings- simply because I LOVED the cover) and after I finished this amazing book, I posted it on Maryse's Facebook page. All the followers do this- like "Check out the amazing 5 star read I just finished It's called Metamorphosis by Erin Noelle and here is the link to it." Well, someone on there tagged Erin's name which in turn lead to me getting a personal friend request from Erin herself. I was on my personal Facebook page not my photography one so I of course never even thought of shooting a book cover- I do mainly newborn/ family photography in my studio. Well, Erin had said on her Facebook she was writing a second book- which made me so excited as a reader..
Flash forward 2 months to March- Erin personal messages me asking me to call her and I honestly have no idea why but am secretly hoping I get to Beta read for her and that's what she is asking me. Well, it was not that. BUT she asked me to shoot her next book Ambrosia. And it just exploded from there.
After Ambrosia revealed I got approached by Nicole Reed (OMG- REAL LIFE) and several other amazing authors.. I have over 27 covers that are in process just from March and only 5 have actually revealed. Then I became friends with this amazing gal name Jennifer Wolfel who betas for Erin as well (because yes, I did in fact get to beta after all) and she mentioned coming to Vegas to the HUGE book signing in August as the "official" photographer. Jenn talked to the lady in charge "Kelli" who later I talk to and it turns out is KELLI MAINE- yea, I fan girl'd a little on that one because -- this is a CRAZY journey that I never expected. I am beyond blessed that these women have all welcomed me and honestly- I have all of them and their amazing stories to be grateful for.
Lesson- ALWAYS be kind..Not because you have to - because you you can.
SRNA: You've done some gorgeous work. Do you have something that is especially near and dear to your heart?
Toski- I honestly love ALL of my covers. I am sure Ambrosia will always be my "baby." It's my first and what put me on the map. I have some gorgeous covers coming though- so keep your eyes peeled.
SRNA: Which graphic programs do you use?
Toski- I use Adobe photoshop and lightroom .. All graphics are done by different graphic artists.. I have worked with Hang Le, Sommer Stein (perfect pear creative), and am shooting a book next week that the images are headed to Sarah Hansen with OKAY Creations <-- ALL OF THESE LADIES ARE AMAZING.
SRNA: How do you design your covers so that they fit with the theme of the book? Character descriptions, read the book, or just let the author talk to you about what they're looking for?
Toski- I get a total feel of what the author is thinking.. I want this to be their "vision" coming to life. So far, they have all been perfect. I am trying to break the stock photo mold that books sometimes go to. They need to be real. Real people, real settings, Real Life.
SRNA: In addition to cover design, what other services do you offer authors?
Toski- I am only the "imagery" part of this process, but when I shoot- I always shoot extra. Then swag, promos, or any facebook/blog/website images can be created to not be exactly like the cover.
SRNA: Anything else you'd like to share?
Toski- My main advantage with taking on this crazy unreal new venture is- I am an AVID huge fangirl reader. So, I shoot what I would buy. Covers sell the book. They don't make the reader love it but the packaging sells the product.
I am also a reviewer on Wolfe's world of books for my friend Jennifer Wolfel:)
SRNA: I ask all my guests... just for fun. What's your sign?
Toski- You would think this would be like the easiest question on earth.. But I am a split scorpio/sagittarius … My Birthday is November 22 so it is always different depending on what you are reading.
I guess when my Mom named me Toski (pronounced Toss-key) which is a native american name- and I am blonde hair, blue eyed caucasian American with O negative (the rare - universal donor blood type) - I was destined to be different.. And I am all for being ME.

About Toski:
My name is Toski Covey.. I am a wife of twelve years - to an amazing man named Paul. I am a mother of 2 handsome boys and one gorgeous daughter ages 11,9,8.
I own my own Photography studio (Toski Covey Photography) in my hometown where I specialize in Newborns and children. I also do side photography for custom book cover images. My cover shots include Erin Noelle's -Ambrosia, Ilsa Madden-Mills- Very Bad Things, Emma Shade's- Finding Obscurity, Tamsyn Becker's - Beneath your Beautiful, and soon will have ---3 gorgeous covers on Nicole Reed's- Ruining series, Erika Ashby, Nacole Stanton and several more on my schedule coming up.
All of my "ME" time is spent reading. It's my passion. I have always read all of Nicolas Sparks books and of course then onto Twilight and from there I have read hundreds. Like most readers - Christian Grey has made me enjoy reading even more and opened the doors to all different kinds of genres.
When talking to me -I will probably once or twice reference Kellan Kyle and thoughtless- as all books go back to that series.. I adore my favorite authors and bloggers I have met through my crazy insane -hard-to-believe-it's real-life journey and am honored to call these amazing ladies my friends.
I'm a happy-go-lucky type person who just loves to have fun, laugh, and meet new friends. Reading has given me all of that and I am so thankful for the authors who give us that gift <3

Her challenge? Play the player.
Until life changes the rules of the game.
Maddie Stevens hated Braden Carter on sight. Arrogant, egotistical, and the playboy of the University of California, Berkeley, he's everything her brother Pearce has taught her to despise. So why, when the girls challenge her to play the player, doesn't she say no? She doesn't know either.
Braden wanted fiery little Maddie the second he laid eyes on her - and he'd do anything to have her, hence why he's agreed to make her fall in love with him. After all, it's the only way he'll get what he wants. Sex.
But, as Braden discovers, there's more to the girl from Brooklyn than he ever imagined - and he can't help but care about the broken girl behind those pretty green eyes.
Maddie finds Braden isn't just a walking erection - he actually has feelings. He can be sweet, funny and his good looks don't exactly hurt. That means trouble - but when her brother Pearce turns up in Berkeley begging for her help, she realizes Braden and Pearce aren't so alike anymore.
And maybe, just maybe, they're exactly what each other needs.
My thoughts: I was gifted a copy of The Love Game as part of the Playing for Keeps Blog Tour which is the 2nd book in this series.
I literally just finished this book after only starting it last night.... I loved it. It is set in the University of California and Maddie Stevens is an extremely likable character who has been through so much in the last 3 years, she hated Braden on first sight reminding her so much of her brother Pearce and enter Maddie’s friends with a challenge “Play the Player” or as they put it “Hump and Dump”, lol..... Maddie accepts that challenge and trust me when I say that the banter between these friends on occasions is hilarious!! Now Braden who in Maddie’s eyes is a player and represents everything that she hates in a guy but who is extremely and I mean extremely HOT accepts a challenge of his own from the fellow frat boys “Make her fall in love” with him and so here the story starts and I’m not going to tell you anymore as I don’t put spoilers in my review but what I will say is: READ THE LOVE GAME!!!! You will not regret it.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to get started on the new and 2nd book in this series ~ Playing for Keeps which is Aston and Megan’s story (Maddie and Braden’s friends) I reckon it’ll be an amazing read.
So what are you waiting for?? Go and read it :) (I actually gave the book 4.5 hearts!)
