Things a bad neighbor can do to you:
1. Have loud parties late at night
2. Refuse to mow his lawn
3. Steal your newspapers
4. Rip your heart out and walk all over it
Katya Tocci is willing to admit that she may have bitten off more than she could chew.
Liam Edenhoff showed her a side of life she'd been missing out on - sex and friendship and tacos. But then he betrayed her.
Wulfric Stone taught her that big surprises can come from unexpected places - like from a surly, aggressive, withdrawn bastard. But then he broke her heart.
Now one of them wants forgiveness, and the other wants forever. And Katya? She just wants to forget.
Who knew neighbors could be so difficult?
This story contains scenes of a graphic sexual nature, multiple uses of coarse language, and quite possibly enough confusion to drive a normal person insane. Reader discretion is advised.

"Have you eaten?” he asked.
“How did you get in here?” she ignored his question and asked her own.
“I have access to the keys for every building we manage. Are you really meeting that thing for dinner?” he asked again.
“Okay, first of all, 'that thing' is a seriously good looking, very successful, and ridiculously nice man – a man who has yet to lie to me and use me,” she pointed out.
“Key word being 'yet'.”
“And second of all, I know for a fact my lease states you have to give me twenty-four hour notice before you just barge in here. If you come in again without my permission, I'm gonna file a complaint,” she warned him. He laughed. Actually laughed. Something Wulfric Stone didn't do very often. She took a deep breath and looked away from his broad smile.
“Please do. I'll direct my HR department to hand deliver it to my desk so I can deal with it
personally.”
“Are we done here? I have things to do today that don't involve dealing with you,” she snapped. He stepped closer to her.
“You might be even funner now than you were before.”
“That's not funny, and if you can't realize that, then there is literally no hope for you.”
“Ah, implying there is hope.”
“Shut up.”
“Feisty. I love it.”
“I talked to Vieve,” she blurted out. That finally stopped him.
“Oh, really,” was all he said.
“Yup. Went to your place, had a cup of coffee with her,” she said. That seemed to actually surprise him.
“You were in my home?” he checked.
“Yes. Apparently, I could've been spending lots of time there. Very generous of you to give me complete access,” she said. He didn't react, though she noticed the tendon in the side of his neck was taut and straining.
“Yes, well, I've met you. I knew if you ever showed up, it would be a huge hassle with the front desk calling my office and you calling my cell phone and me having to drive across town.
Was just easier that way.”
“Sure. Okay.”
“And how was the coffee? I have it imported.”
Katya stared at the tight tendon for a moment longer. He was so good at putting on a false front, she knew. Looking calm and collected. After all, this was a man who ate million dollar real estate deals before breakfast.
But it was all fake. He was nervous. Deep down, she could tell. Being forceful was just his way of barreling through a problem he didn't actually want to deal with – he could just strong arm her into doing what he wanted. No unnecessary awkwardness. That was Wulf's M.O.
Yeah, well, my M.O. is to make him feel as awkward as humanly possible.
“I can't go to breakfast with you,” she stated, brushing past him and heading down the hallway. He didn't hesitate to follow behind her.
“No shit, it's afternoon – it's too late for brunch, even. But that Brazilian food cart is open for lunches now, we're going -” he started, but she waved her hand over her shoulder as she moved into her bedroom."I can't, I'm busy this afternoon. I have to go shopping for a new stove – don't worry, I'll have the bill sent to you,” she joked, turning around and standing in the doorway to her room.
He glared down at her.
“Don't be ridiculous. I'll talk to maintenance, we can get a new stove in by the end of the
week,” he assured her.
“Whatever. I have other plans.”
“Tocci, I'm not -”
“But how about dinner?” she offered.
That seemed to shock him. He stood still for moment, his eyes wandering over her face.
Obviously trying to figure out if she was lying. She offered him a big smile, and that just seemed to throw him even more off guard. He finally narrowed his eyes.
“If I make reservations, you'll be downstairs on time?” he checked.
“No,” she shook her head. “But I can meet you there.”
“Bullshit. You'll stand me up, and I'm not wasting my time, sitting around like an asshole waiting for you,” he said.
“I won't, I promise. I have … a client I'm dealing with this afternoon. I don't know how long it will take,” she told him.
“What about your dinner date with your darling handyman?” he asked. She shrugged.
“I'll figure something out, don't worry about it. I'll have dinner with you.”
“You promise?” he checked, still glaring down at her. She nodded and ran her fingers across her chest in an X motion.
“Cross my heart.”
“Fine. But don't fuck with me, Tocci. You won't like it if I have to come and find you. We have a lot to discuss,” he informed her. She nodded.
“I'm sure we do. What's the dress code?” she asked. Wulf was a 3-Michelin-stars kind of restaurant goer when it came to dinner dates.
“A dress,” he informed her, and then his gaze wandered over her shoulder. She had some clothes laying around on the floor, littered about on the bed. She was gearing up to do laundry. “If you'd like to try on some options, I'd be more than happy to sit and help.”
Katya laughed and slid her hands up either side of the door frame. Wulf followed the motion with his eyes, which grew wide when she leaned towards him.
“Mmmm, that would be fun, wouldn't it?” she chuckled.
“Possibly.”
“And it's been a very long time since you've been in my bedroom,” she reminded him. He nodded.
“It has.”
“And we never got to have any real fun in here, did we?” she sighed, glancing back at her bed.
“No. No, we did it not.”
“It must make you wonder, though,” she said, dropping her hands and stepping back into the room.
“Wonder what?”
“What kind of fun Liam and I used to have in here.”
There was a split second where she got to see equal parts anger and shock ripple across his features.
Then she slammed the door in his face.

Author Bio
Crazy woman living in an undisclosed location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.
I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.
Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

5 "This should get very interesting, very quickly." Stars
I'd like to preface this review by saying that normally this wouldn't be my kind of story at all what with the love-triangle-esque relationship and even more so, the crazily confused heroine. Yet, Stylo Fantome's unfailing gift for story telling forces you to fall really hard for these characters all over again. Really hard. Again. To the point you're consuming her words late at night in bed when you should be sleeping because you cannot possibly go to sleep when you don't know where Katya, Wulf, and Eden will take you next - you NEED to know.
The story told within The Neighborhood is simply magnetic. I had a strongly vested interest in each character and their plights. Katya Tocci plays with fire in this sequel to Neighbors trying to join a game she's ill-equipped to win. Wulfric Stone turns uncharacteristic realizations into equally uncharacteristic actions. Liam Edenhoff inserts himself into a situation he seemingly feels dire to control. All three come blazing back right where they left us in book one. All three stay steadfast in their quest while providing high entertainment for their readers.
The Neighborhood is an unusual and dynamic game of hearts and fire that's edgy, comedic, and sexy. There's passion abound as the three of them play to win. However, it unfolds that each of them are playing with different motivations and expected outcomes taking readers through some unexpected twists and turns. It's about friendships and the subtle and not so subtle gray areas of relationships, it's about boundaries and testing those limits. It's about understanding who are you and what you want. It's not about emotional taxing angst and unnecessary drama; it's about discovery and friendship and letting loose a little bit. It's simple fun. So much goes into their spicy little game making it simply enjoyable to read.
Stylo Fantome stomped all over my feelings of stories with a young, confused, and naive heroine in a triangle situation. She made it an adventure. She made Katya impossibly human, girly, cute, teasing, and perfect. She gave me two hot, sweet, domineering men that I could fuss and drool over the entire duet. She made them fall for and chase after the pretty girl who has the capacity to make you sigh and smile at the time make you crazy. She gave me one man that I would have worked myself stupid into falling for. She gave me friends. She made me laugh. And ultimately she gave me a story in The Neighborhood that I enjoyed reading immensely and felt completely satisfied with all the good vibes I got while inhaling it. And I really, really, really hope that with how it ended Stylo writes us a novella, like really hope, because that would be plain awesome and even more fun.
Major thanks to my girl, Deanna PinkLady, for the recommendation of this author. It's been nothing but awesome reading from Fantome's catalog since. Google +

Love in Lingerie Review

══════════════════

I hired her to fix my company, to bring Marks Lingerie back to life. I didn’t expect her to become my friend. I didn’t expect to fall in love with her.
The first rule of business is to never touch your employees. I think there is another rule about not falling for your best friend—a rule against imagining the curves of her body, or the way her breathing would change if I pulled down her panties and unzipped my pants.
Now, I can’t wait any longer. I’m tossing out the rules.
Damn the company.
Damn our friendship.
Damn my fears.

5 "Or about us." Stars
Truly addictive reading. The writing and story flows so naturally and easily I swallowed this standalone book whole in one sitting, one night. It took about 3 seconds to fall in love with both hero and heroine in a meaningful and satisfying way. There’s rich and vibrant focus on the depth of love between two best friends who are innately attracted to each other; a depth of love only two people in this predicament can share. An unbreakable bond between soul mates. Alessandra Torre's writing flawlessly executes her plot. The angst in the story provides the conflict but in a completely organic way. Her beautifully succinct prose literally jumps from the pages into your readers mind effortlessly hooking you. It's an exhilarating, unique, and erotic love story.
These two characters are two that will stay in your romantic head space indefinitely. Trey Marks, a man for whom you’ll fall deeply into, hires Kate Martin to help him save his company. What he gets from her professionally, personally, emotionally goes beyond anything he could have imagined. His whole realm of existence becomes more colorful when embarks on a friendship with Kate. The sincere and rich affection he has for this woman coupled with the way he holds her in the utmost highest regard to anyone else ever in his life truly makes you feel warm and safe while reading. No matter where their friendship leads no one will ever get a piece of Kate she doesn’t want to give. Trey will see to it. In that alone, there’s a beautiful love story of kinship and respect. Especially in the professional setting. He receives from Kate a partner he didn’t realize he so wholly needed.
Equally in the ranks is Kate Martin. She cherishes and values what she has in such a way that her naivety proves beyond charming. She’s sweet and funny; super intelligent and driven to make the best of her position. Her need to fiercely protect her friendship with Trey is inspired and true. The differences in experience between the two of them create vulnerability in each while simultaneously bridging a gap between the two. They forge a bond through these characteristics full of banter, fun, and endless trust in each other. It provides growth and a steadily moving plot through the entire story. It embodies passion and having that overwhelming feeling of passion in all aspects of your life.
I honestly can’t write enough about the intoxicating beauty of Love in Lingerie. As always with an Alessandra Torre story she takes you somewhere great you sort of expect to go but the avenues she uses to take us there twist and turn in unexpected ways. With a seductively slow build that caresses your heart, body, and mind the book shows a simple concept of plot woven within the confines of an off limits relationship. There’s a trust building and a sweetly constructed foundation to provide you a unique and fulfilling reading experience. It’s shorter in terms of length but that takes nothing away from the power of the punch the story packs.
Told from their dual points of view of Trey and Kate you will embark on a great adventure with these two. Take this sexy and provocative journey with them. For already established fans of Alessandra Torre I’m putting this up there with my favorites of hers; I feel that awesome and satisfied after reading it. Her unique style of storytelling complimented these characters and this plot so perfectly. For those of you that haven’t read a Torre love story but dig erotica, friends-to-lovers, office romance, excellent writing, addictive plots, and interesting, exciting twists to your stories Love in Lingerie is a great place to start in the Torre world. Highly recommended. And a definite re-read for me.

The night I met Drew Jagger, he’d just broken into my new Park Avenue office.
I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills.
He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing.Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant.
Only, turned out, he wasn’t an intruder at all.Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He’d been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.
Which was how a scammer got away with leasing me office space that wasn’t really available for rent.
I was swindled out of ten grand. The next day, after hours at the police station, Drew took pity on me and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. In exchange for answering his phones while his secretary was out, he’d let me stay until I found a new place.
I probably should have acted grateful and kept my mouth shut when I overheard the advice he was spewing to his clients. But I couldn’t help giving him a piece of my mind.
I never expected my body to react every time we argued. Especially when that was all we seemed to be able to do.The two of us were complete opposites. Drew was a bitter, angry, gorgeous-as-all-hell, destroyer of relationships. And my job was to help people save their marriages.
The only thing the two of us had in common was the space we were sharing.
And an attraction that was getting harder to deny by the day.ADD TO GOODREADS

5 "That's what matters." Stars
Rachel Blaufeld always manages to provide an angsty and entertaining sports romance story. My thing isn't typically contrived angst resulting from a heroine who has insecurities and hang ups she refuses to admit or accept but Blaufeld finds unique ways to compound and humanize those issues to fully hold my attention. With Break Point we meet a young woman who falls for her tennis coach stretching limits of a taboo teacher/student-esque romance as well as a coming of age type story for this heroine. Everything they go through from the time they meet until the end felt like something plucked right from a college campus. It's a hard story, sad and regretful, yet it's laced with tones of humor, hope, and devotion.
Coach King provides much to love about the story. He sacrifices and does what he thinks is right to give Jules the best shot she has to succeed. As an aspiring tennis player yet young, naive woman Jules doesn't see things so clearly. She did frustrate me at times, I think a reader needs to be set up for that. She's unwilling to fold in her beliefs because she's beyond scared. This quality in her really gives us a sense of maturation and growth as we come to the conclusion. As her and Drew navigate unknown of their future we get a true sense of his self and his commitment even as he's making a colossal error in his career. There's a certain other character to the story who provides such distinct comic and sweet relief from the angst that you'll adore.
As always Blaufeld's writing pointedly depicts her story. It's honest and witty, sarcastic and full of real life situational prose. I find myself immersed in her writing as I sat sit down with her books and it's easy to read in one sitting thanks to the level of her gift. I love that she takes risks with her characters and allows you to fall for them despite their flaws. She makes them real and she makes her readers feel every evocative part of them. Break Point serves as a New Adult/Contemporary Romance told from dual first person points of view that will leave you satisfied and smiling.

Because the heart may have decided to get Adam back, but when the endgame comes, the heart’s going to be the first thing to break.

5 "I'd fall off the edge...." Stars
C.D. Reiss clawed her way into my reading soul with Separation Games. It was a hard fought battle won with persistence, beauty, growth, and strength in both of her main characters and in her writing. There's such magnetism flowing through the passionate love story of Adam and Diana. Even during the moments where you want to scream "WTF?!?" you cannot look away. And when you have to break for real life commitments Adam and Diana float through your mind continuously. They stick for a variety of reasons - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the downright glorious.
Emboldened and stark in her storytelling, Reiss showcased a crumbling yet loving marriage built on false notions as she led it to an unexpected and gruesome death only to resurrect the ultimate power and trust from it's shadowy depth's. She, quite simply, mesmerized me.
The Steinbecks. Lots of preconceived ideas from these two about who they are individually and as a couple. Bound by the sanctity of their marriage and the fear of their thoughts, Adam and Diana reach a crossroads in their shared life in Marriage Games. In Separation Games those bindings stretch to their limits revealing pleasures and pains neither deemed possible in their relationship.
Diana fights the match of her life. She made me crazy in doing so. She made me question her validity in her own life and in Adam's. She made me want to shake her. She made me wonder. She made me ADORE her. Yep, I said it, ADORE her. Her motivations, her passions, and her thoughts were completely founded. The justification of Diana holds in the fact that she's a tenacious woman with bold ideas and fearless passions. All of this gets easily twisted in her mind and she needed the outlet, understanding and patience to work with her needs. She flounders and flourishes in this book and it was a delight to read.
Adam Steinbeck. His needs are clear yet the reasoning behind them are not. The subtle unraveling of his motivations left me in awe. I love this character. I love what he needs and I love the confusion it causes him before the dawning of his answers come. I even loved him when I wanted to strangle him. Adam's life is evolving rapidly and watching this formidable man ebb with those changes thrilled me. The way he meshes so seamlessly with Diana even as he's holding back but especially when he's not worked so well for me.
In my opinion, these two represent, on a larger and maybe unreachable scale for some, the struggles of sexual exploration within a marriage. You get comfortable in marriage. Comfort turns to laziness and the spark you once had can now flicker with boredom. Whether the exploration leads to something more adventurous or a simple change and re-discovery, it's a pure and unashamed feeling to passionately want within your partnership. Adam and Diana want so very much from each other but don't voice it. How that plays out in Separation Games with Adam and Diana's needs and wants being exposed in a variety of ways remind us of the trust and love we need in our own relationships and how those things can get us what we want.
This duet was perfect for me. Separation Games gets the edge of the better of the two from me personally. Reiss's words were polarizing, poignant, and audacious. I think it must of took a good bit of courage to write this story. Marriage isn't something the masses "play games" with as it's an institution of virtue and purity. This duet tips the scales on that virtue and purity. Turns them belly up. It sullies those paragons while cleansing their souls and creating new meanings for them in a whole different way. It's a rise from the ashes type of love story that will leave you reeling and satisfied.
Bravo to you once again, C.D. Reiss, the gift of your strong and brilliant story telling knows no bounds - thank god for that.
