Aaravindha Himadra is the American-born founder and leader of Sambodha, a U.S.-based organization given over to the promotion of self-knowledge and the elevation of human consciousness on a global scale. In the literary world, Himadra is best known as the writer of Immortal Self, a narrative account of Himadra’s transcendental journey to the ancestral Himalayan home of the Amartya Masters, a reclusive lineage of spiritual mystics whose teachings are more relevant than ever in today’s fraught world. A lifelong learner by disposition, Himadra is trained in psychology, Eastern philosophy, and comparative religion, and is proud to have dedicated his adult life to advancing all three fields.
