I work as a software developer at my own company, Daylon Graphics, which produces the popular Leveller terrain modeler. I started it in 1998, and I began writing a few years before that while working at Corel in Ottawa.

Generally, I think about where we as a species are and where we're headed, what challenges we'll face, and what kinds of experiences we'll have.

Pen and paper, blogs, word processors... these are like flashlights we take with us as we explore the universe, going into every nook and cranny. Occasionally someone finds something and puts more light on it so that everyone else can see it.

Neat idea, strong execution. Silverberg once again demonstrates great characterization and character dynamics/interaction/motivations. The ending was a bit anticlimactic, but upon reflection, I realize the story is more about the journey.
