Carol M. Salter was born in Kent, a typical latch-key kid. She fell in love with English in primary school after someone cared enough to show interest in her poetry.

The first book she enjoyed? Isaac Asimov Foundations aged 11. Her new found love? Sci-fi. Read Sci-fi like she needed it to breathe.

Much later started reading fantasy, then later still paranormal. Professional articles and poetry published. Book Reviewer for a national professional journal.

Wrote her first full-length novel aged 42, never shown it to anyone. Since then Carol has written several novels on contemporary urban fantasy, Sci Fi & paranormal themes.

She reads a book a day at least.

Carol is the Founder (2010) and Chair of the successful Inspirations Writing Group, Base

Picture Honestly, I'd forgotten how hard and complicated writing an Aquasapien novel was! Why did I ever decide to write something so in-depth and interwoven is beyond me. It must have been a good idea at the time. I can see why people love reading it now. The reviews I get back are amazing. So full of plot twists and action.
