Edward Kendrick’s ‘Weekends’ blog hop

Thank you very much for having me here today Cheyenne. By the way, congratulations on your latest release, ‘Loco’. It’s a great story!
Speaking of books, and you knew I would, my newest one, ‘Weekends’, is due out on July 21st.

Blurb:Marcus Hampton is a staid forty-year-old bookkeeper and a confirmed bachelor. When Demitri Costas, a young photographer, asks if he can take some pictures of Marcus, the older man is surprised but reluctantly agrees.
Demitri becomes infatuated with Marcus, despite the fact he believes the man is straight and married.
Slowly they become friends until each realizes the other is gay, at which point Marcus begins to pull away, certain he is too old for Demitri.
It will take everything within Demitri's power to convince Marcus he's wrong. If he can, and he is determined he will, one way or another, they just might find a future together.

Loco (Wind Warriors #2) is now available at Amazon!

Loco lives in the fast lane. A traumatic event in his past haunts him, spurring him to heroic feats that do nothing to satisfy the guilt eating at his gut. Understanding he will die in the line of duty one day, Loco accepts the fact as his due.

Oakley shares the other half of Loco's condominium. Carrying her own emotional scars, she recognizes the man for what he is--intensely brave, devoted, and struggling with inner demons. As they grow closer, she finds her frozen heart thawing and vows to help him into therapy.

Will her gentle ways coax him into receiving the therapy he needs before his luck and amazing abilities fall short on the battleground?

It's dang hard to write a Christmas story when it's 101 outside!

Yep, that's right.  It's 101 outside.  Even in the air conditioning, I'm sweating, which really hampers writing a Christmas story about snowballs, skiing, and snuggling up near the fireplace wrapped up in blankets.
Which makes me wonder.  Perhaps I should be writing a story based in Hell?

Just Erotic Romance Reviews reviewed As Fate Would Have It"

Just Erotic Romance Reviews reviewed As Fate Would Have It!  I'm still bouncing!

Title: As Fate Would Have ItAuthor: Cheyenne MeadowsPublisher: Silver PublishingReviewer: Tallyn PorterRating: 4.5 StarsHeat Level: S
Brie’s plans for her summer vacation were to landscape her backyard, de-stress and relax considering she works as an emergency nurse. But her plans changed when her Aunt Flo offered her home to a family friend who she hasn’t seen in a long time. Rye’s home flooded and his car is no longer usable so staying with a childhood friend seemed like a godsend for the summer until he meets a very grown up and very sexy Brie. Two months of temptation from a very quirky and quiet Brie will either be the death of him or just downright paradise.
I quite enjoyed reading As Fate Would Have It as I fell in love Brie and Rye from the beginning of this story. Having a past relationship as kids and taking a glimpse of their a past childhood encounter just made their relationship even more realistic. The way they still tease and compete with each other as adults was quite funny and made for nice foreplay. I love Brie’s conservative nature which is knocked down by Rye’s constant push to unearth the sexy and adventurous side of her. Their love scenes are passionate, titillating and romantic that I just had to snuggle up to my partner while reading the juicy bits of Brie and Rye’s relationship. Wink wink! But what really drew me to this story was the mystery and suspense surrounding Brie and Rye. Rye, previously a police officer, gave this story an added depth and excitement to both the story and the characters within this tale. I didn’t expect this added jewel within the plot which had me glued to what trouble they both seem to get themselves into. I love the secondary characters which definitely stood out on their own without taking too much attention from Brie and Rye. The nosy neighbors were so charmingly funny and were my favorite secondary characters. As Fate Would Have It was quite enjoyable both for the exciting yet simplistic storyline and the wonderfully charming characters. Fabulous read Ms. Meadows!
