J.A. McPhail, aka Jeanne Ann or Jeannie, is a former library director from Kansas who pursued writing in 2002, and has authored five books. Dawn of Day, released in 2012, was her first book, a middle grade historical fiction novel. McPhail next authored a memoir about her daughter, Stacie, I Will Not Fear: A Chosen Life, which was released in late 2013. A Most Remarkable Hat, Book 1 in her Trinity Tales of Tresia trilogy, is McPhail's third book released in December, 2015. Book II, A Quite Extrordinary Umbrella was released in May, 2017, and her first ebook, A Glimpse: The Truly Excellent Scepter, a short story based on the Tresia series was released exclusively on Amazon in September, 2017.
