Samantha Bailey is a Toronto-based journalist who has written extensively for Now Magazine, Oxford University Press, and many other publications. She is the co-founder of “BookBuzz,” a promotional and interactive author event held in New York City and Toronto that has attracted the attention of prominent publicists, influential media, and bestselling authors. Get it out of your head and onto paper and don't worry about it being perfect or even making sense. Almost every writer I know, including me, writes countless drafts and has so many people read it, and an editor to polish it, before the final version is done.

Oh, and stock up on coffee. A lot of coffee.(less)

I am not a risk-taker by any means. I don't do roller coasters, get nervous going down escalators, am not of fan of sports in which balls get thrown close to my head, and have never rollerbladed in my life. The only area in which I take risks is in my writing. I love to go as dark and twisted as possible, because it is my characters, and not me, who are in danger, and in the last year of revisi... Tom Blubaugh Samantha, thank you for joining my community of friends. Blessings, Tom.

Samantha Bailey Thanks for asking! It's Sam, by the way. But Joanna's a nice name, too. :)

Samantha Bailey Rebekah, I love reading your status updates as you read Finding Lucas. I'm so glad you're enjoying it! So many readers comment on Derek--he gets quite the reaction! I don't want to comment too much about why she stayed for so long because I don't want to take anything away from the story. But, once you're done, if you want to know my take on it, I'd love to chat about it. Of course, Jamie has her own ideas...

Cheers,
Sam

Rebekah Martin Reading "Finding Lucas" right now, and the way Derek treated Jamie...dang! He's giving ME panic attacks and he's not even my boyfriend! How did she live with him so long? Enjoying it a lot, though. :-)

Samantha Bailey You too, Delilah! The title of your latest blog post is fantastic!

Delilah Marvelle Hi Samantha! Thank you for the friendship! Happy writing :)

Samantha Bailey Liz, thank you so much. Your review touched me so much, and I'm so happy you loved Finding Lucas. As an indie author, having that kind of response makes all of the hard work worth it. I'm hoping the next one will be out in late fall!

message 1: by Liz

Liz Hi Ms. Samantha - Your book was incredible! I left a review on Goodreads. When will your next book be out? Your story was a perfect balance of everything!! Love your writing!
