Her publisher is Headline Accent. Only One Woman co-written with Christina Jones: published Paperback and eBook. This is a story about two girls in the late 1960s in love with the same musician and how world events, the music, and fashions of the time influence their lives. Not just a love triangle, it is a powerful story of life and times in an ever-changing world. You will laugh and cry so get the tissues out.

I do find it hard to write to order and sometimes I do gaze at the blank screen for a while, but all of a sudden, like writing songs, something pops into my head (usually a title) and then off I go. My stories seem to write themselves. I go for lots of long walks, take loads of photos of wildlife, countryside and old villages and buildings and these are like visual notes and can inspire me...so if you get blocked, go for a walk, talk to people or read a good book. I am sure something will start to unblock you soon.(less)

I can do my own thing in my own time and I don't have to leave the house. I no longer babysit fully grown, spoiled adults, who are too selfish and egotistical to think of the needs of someone else; me or others working hard for them. I can sit in my PJ's if I want, drink tea and eat liquorice and have the TV or radio on...I can even belt out a few rock songs as I write. I am boss. I am free. I can be me.(less)

Bobby Underwood
“For death is a spider's web, and once caught within its silky strands, our only hope of escape is to kill the spider.”
Bobby Underwood, The Sensual Sea

Pamela Allegretto
“She dreamed of Venice. However, it wasn’t a city alive with stars dripping like liquid gold into canals, or Bougainvillea spilling from flowerpots like overfilled glasses of wine. In this dream, Venice was without color. Where pastel palazzi once lined emerald lagoons, now, gray, shadowy mounds of rubble paralleled murky canals. Lovers could no longer share a kiss under the Bridge of Sighs; it had been the target of an obsessive Allied bomb in search of German troops. The only sign of life was in Piazza San Marco, where the infamous pigeons continued to feed. However, these pigeons fed not on seeds handed out by children, but on corpses rotting under the elongated shadow of the Campanile.”
Pamela Allegretto, Bridge of Sighs and Dreams

Pamela Allegretto
“I have always liked the concept of trying to put myself in someone else’s shoes, in order to better understand the basis of their emotions and actions. When we are fleshed out and outwardly adorned we are all unique. But under the costumes and grease paint, we are one, all Mother Earth’s children. I still have hope that in my lifetime I will see everyone, despite their race, ethnicity, religion, lack of religion, economic situation, sexual orientation, etc., treated with dignity. How hard is it, really, just to treat people the way you want to be treated?”
Pamela Allegretto

Percy Bysshe Shelley
“Venice, it's temples and palaces did seem like fabrics of enchantment piled to heaven.”
Percy Bysshe Shelley

Henry James
“Three things in human life are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind.”
Henry James
