Robert Vaughan's writing can be found in over 600 online and print journals and he's an ten-time Pushcart Prize nominee. He was twice a finalist for the Gertrude Stein Award for Fiction (2013, 2014). His piece, "A Box," was selected for Best Small Fictions 2016 (Queen's Ferry Press). Also, "Six Glimpses of the Uncouth" was selected for Best Small Fictions 2019. He teaches writing retreats at Synergia Ranch and Mabel Dodge Luhan House in NM. His fourth book, RIFT (Unknown Press, 2015) is flash stories, co-authored with Kathy Fish. His fifth book, FUNHOUSE (Unknown Press) published in early 2017. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Bending Genres Journal: www.bendinggenres.com. They lead online monthly weekend workshops and two week- long annual retreats.

Bending Genres update

We recently launched our July/ August issue of Bending Genres Journal: issue 10! It is our most full issue since we began publishing BG in January, 2018. We have 18 flash pieces, 10 poets (some with more than one poem included) and 6 CNF pieces. A total of 36 all together.
