Word Count Update and YA thriller update

My current word count for Sierra Winters and the Void: Book two is 17,630 words. I plan on reaching 20k words today!

I have changed an element of my YA thriller/horror novel. I have decided to make it paranormal in nature concerning the two main protagonists. I still keep the thriller/horror elements and tone of the book so it works out really well and brings a punch to the story!

Sierra Winters and the Void: Book Two 11,355 words.

I have put the YA thriller/horror on hold for now and am still at 20,244 words. I want to focus my thoughts on Sierra Winters right now as I am on a roll with the new story direction. I will be getting back to the other novel, perhaps in little spurts here and there. I may also use it as a "Writer's Block" cure if I get stuck on Sierra :)

Once I finish the rough draft on Sierra Winters book two, I will hit the thriller full bore and get it done because I am really excited about the story.

Vlog

I am working on setting up a Vlog to give updates on the novel as it gets closer to the publication date.

Besides the normal updates and chatter I will be doing, I have a real fun idea planned out!

During the course of 2 years until Sierra Winters and the Void: Summer's Shadow comes out, I will be doing a Vlog from locations in the book. The story is set in Thompson Falls, MT, a place I know very well, so it is going to be great fun doing the Vlog from key locations in the book!

As my first Vlog gets closer I will post updates.

My debut YA Fantasy novel 'Sierra Winters and the Void: Summer's Shadow' is to be published under the MediaAria CDM imprint. 'Summer's Shadow' is the first book in a planned series.
