Robert currently resides in Istanbul, Turkey. His first book (A Matter of Truth, 2015) explored the fantastic fictional meeting of a Cultural Muslim from Turkey and a Cultural Christian from America's heartland. The protagonists are forced to work together to overcome their more pressing need to survive, and in the process make thought-provoking discoveries.

His second book (A Matter of Death) is scheduled to be released in print by Tate Publishers, December 2015.

Married with four children, Robert loves exploring the historical sites in Istanbul.

What makes us us

I read an article in Smithsonian recently about how Alzheimer patients not only exhibit strange behavior patterns that are uncharacteristic to them but many report a change in moral conduct as well. The article noted that family members of Alz. patients notice a lapse in moral decision making, or at least it becomes inconsistent with how they lived according to the values they held prior.
