How Food Trucks BOOM Through COVID 19

COVID 19 Restaurants Closing
How Food Trucks BOOM Through COVID -19
- Restaurants are shutting down due to crowds
The CDC announced on March 16 that they are actively discouraging gatherings of 10 or more people to limit exposure to COVID-19. This means that many restaurants are going to shut down if they have not already. This kind of restriction can severely limit your income and could even bankrupt your business. A food truck or concession trailer could be the answer to keep your business on track in these trying times.

- Mobility can be an advantage in times where people stay put
Since fewer and fewer people are braving the streets today due to the fear of being exposed to the virus, food truck operators have a distinct advantage over restaurants in that they can go where the people are. For example, pulling up to a 50-unit apartment complex is something any food truck operator can do to get sales. This can usually be done in every town across the country with no problem. Are you currently prepared to go where the customer is?
- Expanding your food business to include a food truck is cheaper now
With the recent reduction of interest rates on March 15 from 1%-1.25% to 0%-0.25% (a WHOLE POINT), this may be the perfect time to expand your business. It might sound counterintuitive, but the efforts the Federal Reserve is making to stabilize the economy during this time actually make borrowing money cheaper. This could be a great reason to start expanding now rather than waiting for the rates to go back up. It takes courage, but many of the most successful business owners and operators have made the most money during times of crisis.

I have to say (THIS) book was awesome. I couldn't put it down and then I didn't want it to stop. I'm a New Orleans girl and one of my favorite people slash legends is the famous, Marie Laveau Voodoo Queen, so this was a page-turner for me. Dahlia put a new twist on how Aurora gets her powers, which had me saying...get out of town. I loved the suspense of the storyline and the romance. It will have you loving the characters and parts of this will have you smiling if not laughing. Especially if you're thinking about how would you react?
I'm a big reader besides writing myself and I love to read Christine Feehan, Maggie Shayne, and Heather Graham, but she's my newest best read. Not that it really matters as I'm just one person but to me with this book I give her the highest praise possible.
I can't wait for book 2 to come out and I might just send her a message and see if I can become a beta reader. Do you think she'd go for that? hahaha... it can happen.. I just have to believe.
So if you in search of a new read, please check the book out, and come leave a comment on her Amazon and here I'd love to know what you think of it.

Chatting about Author Maggie Shayne
Hello peeps, It's good to have you drop by on my blog. I have someone very special to my heart on which I'll be talking about, Author Maggie Shayne. She was one of my first vampire romances that I read back in the year 2000.
It was the beginning when vampire romance was just starting out and only a couple of authors were creating the new path of romance. Once I read her books I was lost. She's talented, beautiful and such a great inspiration in every way. To me she's a light that shines bright for she is comfortable in her own skin. In my eyes and other authors and readers she is considered a legend. Those few authors paved the way on how romance is written today. I think of her as one of the reasons I started to write. What she and Christine Feehan, and Linda Lael Miller started changed my life. I couldn't go back to regular romance books. They had become boring. Maggie Shayne has been a best seller many times over. I actually met her at a writer's conference years ago in Florida called the Silken Sands Conference. It was one of my first conferences and here she was in front of me giving a lecture about her life as a writer. I sat in her lecture room and listened on how in the beginning she was rejected more then once, twice and even three times, but finally she was recognized and got her first contract. The hairs on my neck stood on end, and my heartbeat thundered in excitement. She gave me hope, and determination.
Looking back she has over sixty books published through Harlequin, Berkley, Avon, Martin's Press, Pocket Books and other top publishing companies. In March 2014, Maggie Shayne walked away and became a indie author.
She has something for everyone with her many genres,. She writes Paranormal Romances, Contemporary Western Romances(which surprises me greatly. giggles) Romantic Thrillers, and she has a blog called, "The Bliss Blog,"which she teaches Law of Attraction. Here is the link so you can check it out. https://www.blissblog.org/
For the month of October she has a few things going on I thought I would mention.
http://maggieshayne.comAlso she has another event that you might love.

A Daughter's Justice
Greetings from Mississippi. I finally published my new story. My husband and I did the cover ourselves. What an accomplishment! A Daughter's Justice, it's a different genre then my paranormal fantasy. This new story is more of a contemporary suspense, romance, with a passion for steampunk wrapped up with a little bit of magic.
This is my blurb...
Merrick Hardin, a relentless defense attorney by day, lives a double life as a steampunk vigilante by night. After seeing her father murdered as a young child, Merrick, A.K.A. Jynx, vows revenge. After years of careful planning, Merrick is close to avenging her father when the eye-witness to her most recent case is wounded on her watch.
Command Sergeant Major Stone testified on the murder of a prominent Senator’s wife as the eye-witness. Only to be shot by the crime lord’s minions immediately after being released from protective custody. He awakens to find himself staring into the eyes of a beautiful woman named Jynx.
Things are not going exactly as planned when Merrick Hardin is left with no option but to hide Major Stone in her basement after she rescued him from an assassination attempt.
Afraid to admit to her alternate identity now that they’re both madly in love, Jynx worries that Stone will abandon her if he finds out that she is the really Merrick Hardin, the attorney who was responsible for the release of the crime lord and him getting shot. Grab your copy today, and leave me feedback. I would love your comments. Mississippi Para Chasers searching for the Legend of the Yazoo Witch

Meet the MPRI Paranormal Team in the movie event of "The Mississippi Para Chasers" in pursuit of the Legend of the Witch
of Yazoo episodes.
Team members from Left to right: David Childers, Jamie Childers, Wayne Childers, and Gene Hamil.
Legend has it she lived in a cabin on the river around 1884 where she lured men away and tortured them. A local sheriff deputy it's been said, chased her through the swamps only to find her half drowned in quicksand. At that moment she swore revenge on Yazoo city and that she would return in twenty years and burn the city down.
In 1904, a fire destroyed over 200 residences and nearly every business in Yazoo City – 324 buildings in total. Mysterious winds occurred on a normal kind of day leaving you to ponder the old witch's warning.
So, the Para Chasers are intrigued and interested in finding fact or fiction if she still lingers, what happens along the journey. I've seen the first episode and let's say. The hairs on my arms stood on end. Will they meet the witch of Yazoo?
Does her body remain in the marked grave? Evidence and history were burned to the ground in 1904, so follow them to see. http://www.eventscreamer.com/twistedcarnival/
A must read:

The tombstone was put up in the 90’s in honor of Ray Rogers Sr who may have been one of the keepers (sexton is another word for it) of the cemetery from Jan 7th 1974 to July 1, 1995. The witch’s tombstone has on it “In Honor of Ray Rogers Sr. Sexton Jan 7th 1974 to July 1, 1995” When the monument was put up Ray was an honoree in attendance.Sheriff of Yazoo County in 1884 was Sim Harrison. Sherif of Yazoo County in 1904 was Sherrif W.F. Stubblefield. Some believe that the legend was born from the actions of Harriet N Prewett, an editress of a local Yazoo paper. It is said that she took on the Democratic Party for their raciest beliefs of the time through her writings. Back then men

The fire started at 830am and burned till 5pm. It destroyed most of the town.Vay McGraw has played the witch on walking tours for 50

Questions on Amazon, Barnes and Nobles and the Ibook- paperbacks or ebooks

Do you do better with ebooks or paperbacks? How many people use only the KDP part? Some people like it and others don't. I don't because I do have them in Barnes and Nobles and Ibook, and other places like Smashwords.

Now I will say that when I first published, my sales were higher through Barnes and Nobles, but this last couple of years it has declined. Is it because more people use the kindle, the iphones? What are your thoughts as authors, and I would also like to hear from our readers.
I do have the iphone myself and I love it, but my ibooks sales are very low. How are your sales from people with ipads, iphones, or the mac computers? I thought personally that the iphone would bring in the big bucks because everyone loves the iphone, but I was mistaken.

I do self promote and push myself. I even changed my covers. I know part of my problem is how often I publish and this year my goal is to do at least three. I just thought I would throw this out there into the void and see what others have to say. Thanks for listening to my rant on sales, promoting. LOL. An author's frustrations.
