Anthony Camber is a freelance writer, editor and designer who specialises in irreverent, intelligent storytelling and can find the humour in the darkest situations. His stories feature strong gay characters and plots that appeal to both gay and straight audiences. He’s a keen supporter of gay rights and also enjoys photography, technology (computing, web design and development, technical writing) and science (plonk him in front of anything space-related and he’s happy). He’s also a sucker for any kind of major sporting event. He’s a graduate of Downing College, Cambridge and still lives in the city.

Nominated for Best Book of 2012 by So So Gay Magazine for Till Undeath Do Us Part

If you want to be a writer, write.

If you're great at coming up with reasons why you can't write, you're not a writer, you're a daydreamer.(less)

It's set at the St Paul's College of "The Pink and the Grey", but in the very different world of the early 1970s.

If all goes well it'll appear as an ebook and in print later in 2014.(less)

Another gay footballer at last?

The older I get, the closer I come to losing it entirely at Pride — in a good way. I marched again this year, and the waters rose first somewhere along Regent Street, when the shockwave of joy and smiles and rainbows and goddamn whistles and acceptance and unrelenting positivity finally buffeted my inner Eeyore into submission. And second, on the train home a few hours later, opposite a glittery b
