Friday Flash Fiction- Do You Like a Man in Chains?

Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! This Friday Flash Fiction has a hawt man waiting to be bound. What sparks your mind? Our group of writers will write exactly 100 words, no more no less, to a designated picture prompt. My 100 words comes from my brand new adult romance entitled, Cheaper to Keep Her. After you read my contribution, please read what the other writers have to say, the links follow. Happy Friday!

See my contribution below:

“Baby, why don’t you let me chain you to the bed? You know get some whipped cream, that flavored oil, and the vibrator?”
“Whatev…you caveman. I thought you were finally going to tow that junk truck project out of my yard. That’s what that chain would be good for.” Stormi Goddard rolled her eyes at her husband.
“Leave it to you to ruin a good sex moment.”
“Last time we tried you couldn’t get it up.”

Jensen Goddard shrugged his shoulders. “Ever think it might be…well, you?” He leaned forward and lowered his voice. “That’s why I suggested the vibrator.”

Now that you've read my contribution, please visit these other authors for their take on this hunk-in-links. Contributions may contain explicit content.

Cynthia Arsuaga is in THE LOCKER! Let's show her some love!

Please welcome to The Locker the talented and lovely, Cynthia Arsuaga. I met Cynthia through our mutual publisher, Secret Cravings Publishing. Of course, I loved it when she agreed to be a guest on my little ole blog. Let's show her some love and lots of comments for YOUR CHANCE TO WIN!
Hello Everyone and thanks to Davee for having me on her blog today! This week I’m the Author of the Week for Secret Cravings Publishing and trying to squeeze in some blog time. So, again, thanks a lot for giving me this opportunity to showcase my back list of fourteen titles! I’ve done a little interview today. Following is an excerpt from my novella, Texas Heat, part of the Hot Flash line at Secret Cravings.  I’ll be doing a sweepstakes, picking a winner by random from all the commenters over the three days on this and the other blogs I’ll be a guest on. The winner will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to Secret Cravings Publishing. Good Luck!!!Questions:How long have you been an author? I’ve been writing for four years and published since January 2011. What is your favourite genre? I initially and primarily write Paranormal (Vampires), but have ventured out and written contemporary erotic romance. To date I’ve had fourteen works in various lengths released. What is the biggest surprise you’ve discovered about the writing process? I started out writing to occupy my retirement hours and boredom. Let’s be honest, once I had that first manuscript accepted, you couldn’t stop me! I found the writing easy, the promotion difficult. That has been the biggest surprise. Can you tell us about one of your current works in progress? I have several in the fires. Books 4 and 5 in the Born Vampire Series and Book 3 in the Forces of Beauty Series have about three to four chapters each written. I have experienced a great reception with Texas Heat, so I started to write the continuing story of Charlie and Zach until I was side-tracked with a new story I dreamt about a couple nights ago and began writing because the muse wouldn’t go away. Picture Ireland, small village, Irish-American woman inherits an estate and discovers a “spirit” from medieval times “living” in the cottage on the property. Secrets, magic, murder, and lots of hot sex. Still working the “kinks” out. LOL. Finally, can you give us your contact links? Blog: http://romanticwordsbycynthia.blogspot.com

Fun Questions:If you had the chance to meet one of your characters privately, who would it be and what would you do? A toss up. Either Christian MacKenzie from A Cougar and Her Vampire or his friend, Ramsey Weiss from A Vampire in Paris. Both are very continental and with either we would tour London and Paris in style. What is the naughtiest thing you’ve ever done? Probably the naughtiest thing is on my first wedding anniversary, hubby and I went to Ft. Lauderdale and one night we went to a hip, chic nightclub and I began a slow striptease for hubby on the dance floor. There were a lot of people dancing on the floor, and I was partially concealed, but I did have an audience. Thank goodness we weren’t arrested! A good night! ;) If you could choose to time travel, would you go backward or forward, and why? Great question! I’d like to do both for totally different reasons, but if I had to choose…I’d say forward. I’d love to see my great-grandchildren. My grandchild is only seven, so that would be quite a few years in the future.

Story Excerpt
“Ooh, sorry. Guess I hit a nerve, huh?” Emma cast a glance toward the front door and lowered her voice. “You know, I think you’re being too hard on yourself, hon. Yeah you work long hours, but look what you’ve accomplished. You’re not plain either. You look better than I did at your age, a nice slim figure, nice big hair, and can ride with the best of the cowboys in these parts. I think he is exactly the sort of guy that could put a little zip in your step, Miss Birthday Girl. It’s time you get back in the saddle and ride a man. How long has it been since you’ve had a roll in the hay or even a date?”Emma’s wink left no doubt in Charlie’s mind she was teasing. Or was she? “I’m not interested in either one. I’ve got the ranch, and that’s my only love right now.”“Really?” Emma looked over Charlie’s shoulder. “Tell me somethin’. If you had the opportunity wouldn’t you jump his bones?”To be honest, Charlie couldn’t tell Emma about the last man. When did she last have a date? Damn! She couldn’t even remember the last time she had a kiss, let alone a man in her bed, saddle or a roll in the hay. “Emma, I told you, I’m not interested in taking up with no man, especially with a fancy pants like Doctor Callahan. Besides, he’s not my type.”“What types do you like Miss Reynolds?” the low, sultry voice resonated behind her.Oh dang! Charlie’s eyes widened staring at Emma who only flashed a wicked grin in return.“Hey Pete, Doc Callahan. Just in time for some birthday cake,” Emma said. For the second time within an hour, Charlie’s face blushed from embarrassment. Slowly turning on the barstool, she came to rest eyes on the face of the new vet, the strong jawline, high cheekbones, and those eyes. They were a deeper hazel, almost a golden sable, darker than earlier and she fought to tamp down the heat rushing through her body as he curled the edges of his mouth in a wicked upturned grin.“An outdoorsy, rough riding cowboy.” Charlie lied, but pulled a description out of her head the total opposite of what the vet appeared.“Really? Well I guess two out of three isn’t bad.” The smile grew wider. “You left this at Pete’s,” he said extending his arm with a bag in his hands.Which two did he mean? When he handed the handles over, he brushed her fingers with his and butterflies fluttered in her stomach carrying tingles down her spine. They didn’t stop there, sharp electric zaps flowed lower. Dormant for years, her body and hormones now betrayed her. “My boots. Thank you.” Now she felt like an idiot. Geesh, I am getting old. I can’t remember shit! “I have to go. I’ll talk to you later, Emma.”

“Perfect, now come here. I think it’s time we lose the rest of our clothes?”No verbal response came to his suggestion; she just locked her gaze on his and walked back to his side in a slow, cat-like manner. She was enjoying this seductive dance of foreplay as much as he was from the expression and body language he displayed. Stepping closer, she placed her fingers on his tight stomach, a sliver of curly hair was visible above the low rise of his jeans. Nothing about her touch was tentative as she dragged her fingertips across his skin, stroking upward as his muscles flexed. She gazed up at him, and said, “You do it. Undress me.”Obviously, he didn’t need a formal invitation and made quick work of the job, reaching down to the hem of her nightgown and pulled it over her head. She stood before him naked except for her lace bikini panties. The palms of his hands reached to her full breasts, massaging them, and the hard nipples perked up.“Ohmigod.” Charlie sucked in a deep breath. A long, low moan confirmed her sensitivity and his success. How she loved a man of action. Something her ex-husband never was.Zach nibbled along her collarbone and down to the rise of the lush breasts that had filled his hands moments earlier. Free of any constraints, her nipples were hard nubs begging to be squeezed and he obliged. Cupping the full flesh in his hands, his head inched lower. He caught first one, then the other pebble in his mouth, raking each between his teeth. Gasps of delight and moans escaped her mouth. She had other treasures he needed to explore and arched her breast into his palm, demanding more attention.“You really want to make love to me?” she asked, breathless.Instead of answering, Zach took her hand and placed it on the button fly of his jeans. She gasped, feeling the hard throbbing flesh beneath the denim. He released a nipple from his mouth with a pop, raising his head, their eyes met.The deep despair and loneliness that had enveloped her earlier disappeared. She looked at Zach with joy and belonging. His sexy smile, filled with desire and excitement, had her heart thudding hard against her ribs. He wanted her. He really, truly wanted her.No words needed to be spoken. She started to unbutton his jeans and peel them over his hips and down his legs as he continued to play with her breasts. When the jeans dropped to the floor, he stepped out of them and kicked them aside. Pressing against her, she realized he had nothing on, and his erection pushed on her belly. A sudden wetness drenched her panties.

Just Out of My Grasp -- Life with Chronic Illness

http://store.secretcravingspublishing.com/index.php?main_page=book_info&products_id=241
Fibromyalgia - Mayo Clinic
Ahoy Fellow Fathomers, I’ve decided to use my blog not only to writing, music, and other facets of entertainment, but, also to share my journey. On June 19, 2013, my rheumatologist told me the reason for many of my ongoing health problems is because I have systemic lupus, also known as SLE. But, after second opinions and many more doctor visits, my neurologist believes it is actually Fibromyalgia. At any rate, no autoimmune disease is a good diagnosis, but, to me, Fibromyalgia is a blessing compared to lupus.Thank you for listening, each week I will have a new installment chronicling my journey. Please, please feel free to comment, write, share. I hope to use this forum as a help to all of us, no matter what pain you are experiencing. You may also send stories to me via finlessbook at gmail dot com. I will respect your privacy and maintain your anonymity, if you so desire. Hugs for today …I’d Lose My Head if it Wasn’t Attached- More Notepads than in a Chain Hotel
The #Lyrica is helping so much! The dizziness dissipated, a common side effect of the medication while adjusting to it. The prickles and pin pricks of neuropathy have very much gone away. However, my hands and feet still hurt pretty badly and seem to cramp with much intense use. I still have muscle pains, but, they are controllable for the most part.

I returned to the gym last week and began weight training again and cardio! My body loved it, but, I can tell I’ve not worked out cardio seriously in a while. Although my strength was good due to the yoga that I continued. I have my periodic checkup with my rheumatologist this Friday. But, I’m coming to the conclusion that the diagnosis of fibromyalgia is indeed correct. I hope she doesn’t frown too much that other doctors completely changed her choice of medications. And diagnosis for that matter. But, this is all about me, remember? So, let’s see what this round of blood tests substantiates. Physically, I feel SO much better. But, Good Gravy, my memory and brain fog continue with a vengeance!Lifting the Brain Fog For example, my daughter’s birthday is January 5th, so, she gets lots of presents and celebrations within a short time span. (Time for some TMI, you may stop reading if talking about bras makes you uncomfortable.) For Christmas I bought her a beautiful bra from Victoria’s Secret. But, it didn’t fit. (it was too small…UGH!) It’s a curse that my teenager looks more like a college girl. I own 3 guns and can be very intimidating. JSo, knowing I needed to take it back to exchange, I put it back in the VS box and set it up. I later wrapped her birthday gifts. I also wrapped the too small bra in the VS box.WHAT?!SheeshIn my lapse of memory, I wrapped it, then when I went to find it to give it to her to return-- I couldn’t find it. My husband actually asked if I was developing dementia. What did I do with it?After a few hours of scouring, a small light flickered in my echoing mind (speaking to self)- “You wrapped it dummy.”I then had to explain to my daughter I wasn’t sure which box it was (two were the same size). So, when she opened it for the second time, (I’m sure it still doesn’t fit) please just ignore your mother and move on. She just smiled.  [image error]

TOESday Tales....I mean Tuesday Tales...did someone think about feet?

On Ellicott Street Buy Link

Ahoy Fellow Fathomers! Welcome to 2014 and the first Tuesday Tales of this new year. I introduce you to a new WIP I have going. It's a bit of paranormal/mythology and erotic romance. I have not yet chosen a name for this new book, but, I won't need that for this first snippet today. Our word prompt today is "toes" and I have plenty I can say with this particular prompt. Toes can be sexy...I mean, I see many feet and toes during yoga classes. Beautiful pedicures, toe rings, even ankle bracelets can really add flare and beauty to a woman.

Without further ado...please see my snippet with "toes" as the prompt word. ***CONTAINS EXPLICIT CONTENT*
my toes in Galveston on the beach

“There must be a catch, there is always a catch.” I almost hissed. “Please don’t waste our precious little time with empty opportunities.” I clutched Teresa tightly against me.
“I’ll leave you to make love until the sun sets below the horizon. You’ll have until then to make your decision.”
Teresa rushed out of my arms. “What is in this for you? I cannot imagine a good deed goes without reward for you.”
Psyche’s tiny feet landed on the center of a sturdy oak table. I couldn’t even make out her miniscule toes. “Nothing that will affect you, I promise. That’s all I’m allowed to say. You may continue your current arrangement or trade it, it’s that simple.” She vanished before we could ask her anything else.
I slumped next to my forever lover. “Teresa, what the hell was that?”
“I don’t know, Cara. I’m not sure what to make of Psyche’s proposal. It could contain black magic or a mysticism far worse.” Teresa positioned herself between my knees. “Fifty years seems like an eternity today, but, I can only imagine how fast it would go. Would I never touch you again after that?”
I kissed Teresa as she softly pushed me backward onto the bed.  “But, can you imagine having fifty years together, every day? I could wake up to you for hundreds of days, thousands of hours.” Tears pooled and fell down my face. I touched them, still amazed at my human advantages. “It’s a dream come true.”
Ever the skeptical human, Teresa shook her head. “At what cost? What would it be worth to lose what we have now.”
“We wouldn’t be Godforsaken statues for at least fifty years!” Anger replaced my tears.
“Please baby, don’t do this, we only have about eleven hours left now, let’s spend the rest of our time loving each other.” Teresa traced my shoulder with her tongue, then she lightly bit my supple skin. “You feel so very nice. It’s amazing.”
The throbbing ache returned between my legs and I wanted her, it seemed, more than ever. I roughly pulled her against me, we joined skin to skin from head to toe.  I arched my hips against her, and gripped her ass into me. Teresa matched my lips with a deep open mouthed kiss, her tongue forcefully probing before she softened her tongue inside my mouth.  I sucked her tongue like stick candy and she moaned, reaching for my breast.

Flasher Fiction Friday Delicious Welcome to 2014

Ahoy Fellow Fathomers, this Friday I return to my first recurring blog contribution, the Friday Flash Fiction. A group of writers will write exactly 100 words, no more no less, to a picture prompt. After you read my contribution, please read what the other writers have to say, the links follow. Happy Friday!

The leather is supple against my skin and I’m not sure what’s happening next, but, it doesn’t matter. My mind is whirling with a thousand naughty images, each one just as delicious as the other.
I’m waiting impatiently for her to remove the gloves and rake her sharpened nails against my tingling skin, hoping desperately her tongue follows. My erect nipples, hard as pegs, will be knobs in her warm mouth.
Yet it’s still just a fantasy in my excited mind.
Thankfully now, as I wait for her to rise, her tongue is sliding across my slickened femininity.
Welcome 2014.

Fibromyalgia is Very Real and I’m Living Proof

Ahoy Fellow Fathomers, I’ve decided to use my blog not only to writing, music, and other facets of entertainment, but, also to share my journey. My rheumatologist intially diagnosed me with SLE in June 2013, however, this may have been a misdiagnosis. So, the search for the truth continues, but, I may be close now. :) Thank you for listening, each week I will have a new installment chronicling my journey. Please, please feel free to comment, write, share. I hope to use this forum as a help to all of us, no matter what pain you are experiencing. You may also send stories to me via finlessbook at gmail dot com. I will respect your privacy and maintain your anonymity, if you so desire. Hugs for today …Day Seven of LyricaSo, my neurologist considered the notion that my auto-immune reactions could be fibromyalgia. I can deal with that, but, first I need to admit a shameful notion: I used to believe fibromyalgia was a made-up disease. For that, I apologize for everyone who suffers with this disease. It attacked my muscles head to toe and my Central Nervous System. The neuropathy is the worst and the brain fog and the muscle swelling, the mind bending headaches and the fatigue…I could go on and on. Yes, fibromyalgia is very real and I’m living proof. So, let’s stop the Gabapentin (Neurontin), I already stopped the Plaquenil (more on that later), and now added Lyrica. A mysterious medication that could cost a fortune and carries a laundry list of possible side effects. Such as a feeling of euphoria or being “high”. High? Lyrica by Pfizer Did someone say euphoric? I am NOT euphoric, I’m the predictable skeptical sourpuss of the bunch. Come to me when you want brutal truth. The only thing that makes me cry are singing the national anthem at sporting events, the movies A League of Their Own, Radio, and The Blind Side- (notice the sports theme), and seeing my children in the spotlight. But, daily living, nah, I stay away from warm fuzzies. BUT **Wow, I started Lyrica and immediately felt this high sensation, but, it morphed into a gentle happiness. Yes, a gentle happiness…a satisfaction, while not euphoric, mentally better than I’ve felt in months- possibly years. And, the physical pain? Dissipated. I’ve read the side effects, but, it was worth the risk. I’ve not experienced the weight gain or swelling- my body already did those things. Now, I feel less swollen, when before it felt like my muscles were in a big wad. Now, I feel more flexible, less pain, and more energy. I did two miles on the treadmill yesterday in a brisk walk and even jogged at the end! YAY ME!I will honestly say it’s a relief my neurologist is considering fibromyalgia instead of lupus. Yes, I will always have an auto-immune disorder, my Sjogrens markers prove all the dryness is not my imagination. But, it’s not fatal, as lupus can be. And for that I’m truly blessed and thankful.Let’s hope this diagnosis is correct and I’m truly on the road to better health and managing these CNS and muscle pain. So, officially making the change on my blog from SLE to fibromyalgia. But, still hope to provide information helpful to anyone fighting an auto-immune or other chronic illness.Hugs for today! http://store.secretcravingspublishing.com/index.php?main_page=book_info&products_id=463
