Arthur Graham is a professional editor/writer currently residing in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is an accomplished noveler, storyist, and publishite by all accounts. His work has been unfairly compared to that of Charles Bukowski, William S. Burroughs, Hunter S. Thompson, and Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. Once a promising purveyor of fine literary fiction, he has since been reduced to churning out chapbooks instead. He is not on Facebook but he does own a TV, so at least he's not a total hipster.

Cofounder and former head editor of Rooster Republic Press. Sitting Editor in Chief of Horror Sleaze Trash.

In short, I am an enigma, a paradox. An enigmatic, paradoxical, pretentious idiot. If I had to guess why, I'd say I'm this way for the same reason others make a habit of insulting strangers online -- my parents didn't love me growing up.(less)

Arthur’s Recent Updates

Arthur Graham is on page 19 of 28 of HSTQ: Swimming in my own pool of puke
reminded me of masturbation
because her throwing up on me was love.
Why else did she do it?
That’s what she said: “It’s love, baby!”
and I wanted to drink the entire universe
and puke all over the stars,
the earth and drink puke to puke it out all over
my ecstatic body
and then smoke a cigarette of puke
because I love them.
And her.
And you.
And myself.

I dreamed
I had open-heart surgery,
completely awake (inside the dream)
All the lights were sharp
and all the knives were dull
You were the surgeon
and you kept promising, over and over
that you had washed your hands
which meant of course you hadn’t.

More of Arthur's books…
“And the years flow past, each of them as unremarkable as the next, as unnoticed as nanoseconds, in fact, not even long enough to contain anything noticeable – centuries just barely registered as moments in space/time. Soon the millennia are passing by at a modest rate of 47 per minute, and of course all manner of things noticeable and not-so-noticeable occur along the way (though most falling into the latter category). Naturally there come periods where lying is greatly rewarded, followed by periods where lying is greatly punished (our poor unlucky editor!), along with every other conceivable and inconceivable reversal and re-reversal of standards, and…

Wait, did anyone else just hear God yawn?”

Thanks, Melki - Guess I just got tired of "the weirdo beardo contemplates something pointlessly ironic" pic...

Jenn(ifer) Okay, first things first. GR etiquette 101 - you don't respond to someone's message on your own profile -- you write your response on their profile. Otherwise, how is one to know you've responded?

Secondly, if you want to gun for my position, now is the time mister! Cos next year, imma leave you in the dust :p

Jenn(ifer) Didja see!!?? You're #52! Awesome :)

Jason, you've only had the one profile pic since I've known you, so at least you're not a hypocrite.

I KNOW! It was like that time when I was 10, and my mom wouldn't sign the permission slip for me to see the "menstration" movie, and I had to sit in the nurse's office for 2 hours by myself! I still have NO IDEA where babies come from!

So, will you send me a Paypal invoice...or is it amazon?

Karlyflower *The Vampire Ninja, Luminescent Monster & Wendigo Nerd Goddess of Canada (according to The Hulk)* LOL, I'm a stalker so I noticed this but normally responding on my wall is the way to reply (FYI) but no, I really don't think it's much of a coincidence LOL.

Karlyflower *The Vampire Ninja, Luminescent Monster & Wendigo Nerd Goddess of Canada (according to The Hulk)* Your profile kind of looks like an emo elf, Arthur, quite lovely but uncharacteristic looking - from what I've surmised of you. I love the black and white though :)

Karlyflower *The Vampire Ninja, Luminescent Monster & Wendigo Nerd Goddess of Canada (according to The Hulk)* It was difficult but I just pictured the guy in the picture almost naked and from there it was smooth sailings.

Karlyflower *The Vampire Ninja, Luminescent Monster & Wendigo Nerd Goddess of Canada (according to The Hulk)* Elves are wonderful :) and you make a lovely elf. And of course I do.... you can't post mostly naked pictures of yourself and expect a jacket to alter that visual! Although, you look nice in the coat, as well :)..... I'm very flattering today ( I don't know what's wrong with me - I think I need coffee)

Hope all is wonderful and that you get into a lil bit of trouble now and then to keep things interesting ;)
