RASANA ATREYA has sailed two-and-a-half of the seven seas, survived Disneyland and is hanging on to her sanity - barely - as she raises a teen and a younger kid who thinks she's too cool to be pre-teen.

Rasana is embarrassed to admit she once worked in a job that paid real money. Happily enough, that phase passed, and now she finds herself the author of three books set in India, the first of which was shortlisted for the '2012 Tibor Jones South Asia prize'. UK's Glam magazine calls this novel - Tell A Thousand Lies - one of their 'five favourite tales from India.'

The other two are '28 Years A Bachelor' and 'The Temple Is Not My Father' (also available as audiobook). She has also written fanfiction for Toby Neal's Lei Crime series. This novel

If you like fairly light reading, I'd recommend '28 years a Bachelor.' 'The Temple Is Not My Father' is a novella, but it is more intense because it deals with a serious topic. 'Tell A Thousand Lies' falls somewhere between the two - some humour, a little intensity, but still fast paced.

Nora Roberts and Stephen King tell us to treat writing as a profession. Write anyway, even if you don't feel like it, even if it is insipid, bland writing. It *will* get better. (less)

Arjun Rawat Dear Book-lover & author,

I viewed your profile and noticed you a good book-reader and penned various books. I am too a writer and recently penned a new fiction named MUGGER. It is focused on corruption, criminalization of politics and various others problems pertaining to society. Its Hindi version too awarded by NHRC for safeguarding human rights. I would appreciate if you read my fiction and apprise me about its deficiencies so that I can make further improvement in my writing. MUGGER is available on paper-back in :- Flipkart, Infibeam, Crossword, uRead, Power-publishers etc. MUGGER will soon be available on e-book through orders.india@partridgepublishing.com.
Regards.
