About my writing: I don't like to write candy for the brain. But I do like to try to make my books not only fulfilling, but entertaining. Candy is nice, but a meal of meat, potatoes, and veges can leave you more satisfied. My books give the reader a good taste of history and/or science along with a dash of mystery folded into the story.

About me: I've always loved writing, but haven't gotten serious until the past seven years. When I'm not writing, I like to garden, sew, fix up old houses, or anything else creative. My favorite movies are ones about history.

The fourth book is His Accidental Bride (which has won a number of awards btw). And the fifth book is the one you read, Where her heart lies.
I've got a new book that came out this month. Though it is not part of the Craig, Colorado series it does have a connection to the fourth book. The opening scene of His Accidental Bride presents a farmer who has just lost his wife and he is at the gambling table trying to win some money to help take care of his infant, motherless son. The saloon girl, Dorothy refuses to help her brother cheat the farmer. The farmer never appears again in His Accidental Bride. I felt this character needed his story to be told, and so it is in A Heartbroke Farmer. You may want to add this book to you reading list too. Thanks!(less)
