Like most writers, I spend most of my time telling myself stories and occasionally writing them down when they get too loud to remain in my head. The characters are also very demanding, wanting to go out into the world to be discovered by millions of adoring readers, though they are most satisfied with having only a few readers that truly love them. From the gargoyles that sit on top of the roofs to the Siren who lures her wolf astray to the Aradians and Apocritae to those who battle evil, the characters are everything.

Instead of going through the traditional gatekeepers of the publishing world I have leapt over the walls with the help of digital catapults (kindle direct, smashwords, and createspace) and messenger e-birds (goodreads, faceb

(Stone Solitude is the 4th in a gargoyle series but can be read alone; it's also connected to Siren Song, which is also very sweet, since Daisy is the daughter of the H/h from that book) If you're okay with more detailed intimate scenes, Winter's Heart would work.

I hope this helps! (less)

If I am in the middle of a story and i get stuck, it usually means something in the story needs to be changed and I am just resistant to the idea. The bigger the change needed, the more resistant I am, until I finally give in and make the necessary changes. If it is before I start a story, I jot down any notes I might have and then I put it aside and work on different projects, giving the creative muses a break and hoping they'll talk to me before too much time has passed. It’s been a while since there’s been a new post up and there are two reasons for that: the first I will show below in pictures and the second, and perhaps biggest reason, I really like that Happy New Year picture – it makes me smile every time I click on this page. If you see my facebook updates, you might have seen some of the costumes I had been working on that kept me away from writing. For...

“It looks like a group of evil f*cking gnomes came in here and decided to do the opposite of whatever they did for the shoemaker.”
A.C. Warneke, Blight

“Clearing his throat, he rumbled, "Miss Darling, a word if you please."
"Sesquipedalian," she said, keeping her back towards him.
The strange response momentarily stunned him. "Pardon?"
Turning around, she leaned against the counter and grinned at him, “You asked for a word and I gave you one. It means ‘many syllabled’ and while it’s exceedingly pretentious it is a lot of fun to say. Sesquipedalian; it tangles up the tongue and then just falls right off.
“Or perhaps you would prefer a different word?” she continued guilelessly and he was completely charmed by her. “Tittle, which is the little dot over i’s and j’s; or Ornithopter, an aircraft that flies by flapping its wings; Tuatha De Danan Lora or Expector Patronum?”
“Now you’re just making words up,” he grinned, and realized he had missed talking to her.”
A.C. Warneke, Siren Song

“Do you know what will make it better?” “Ice cream.” Because ice cream made everything better. He blinked at her and she wondered what she said wrong. “I was going to suggest diamonds but ice cream works for me. Come on.”

LOL. :)I think the cats coordinate - they are very devious that way.

Jacque No worries. I have a gargoyle issue at home, too. Only my 3 gargoyles are less stone looking and more cat looking and in need desperate need of Prozac. Whoever said cats sleep all day hasn't set food in my place. SHEESH!

My first reaction to reading that was,"Yay! Somebody liked Blight!!"

In answer to your question - YES!! The sequel is about 75% done but I haven't been able to get back to it because certain gargoyles have been clamoring for their stories to be told. In After Blight you'll get to find out who He is and who Beck is; it's very exciting. :)

Jacque I just finished Blight. WOW! Just WOW! Is there going to be a sequel because I'd really like to know more about Him.

I'm just glad you read it - and even happier that you enjoyed it! :) It gives that much more incentive to get the other two stories written. And while I am working on Rhys and Jenna's story I don't know when it will be finished - I want the story to be the best it can be. Thank you for reading Stone Lover and taking time to leave a review - I really appreciate it!

Priscilla Sorry it took me so long to finish the copy of 'Stone Lover' that you sent me! I LOVED it!!!! It was well worth the wait and once I started I could not put it down. I finished it in one day. I also fell in love with your characters and sincerely hope you are going to write the brothers their own stories!
