Aliens are coming

Some guy in the Space Force, IDF style, is talking about US and Israel (why no Russians?) being in contact with aliens. Well there you have it.

Of course the question is why there aren't people with telescopes seeing any evidence of this galactic force, right? And if they're talking to Trump, are we fucked?

Remember how I said I saw a UFO. Heard of others that did too. Not crazies, just: what's that odd movement out there that's unlike anything I've seen. That's what I saw, after all. Well, reminds me of my short. I wonder how people would actually react, right?

Best Actors of the 21st Century?

Not sure who I'd add here. I don't like most of the the usual suspects  you see on lists like these. I also sense that some actors get props for playing a certain role or having certain something (like Idris Elba's swagger) that speaks to a viewer. Let's keep it to movies, even if TV has come a long way. And only movies in the 21st century. So Al Pacino etc wouldn't make it even if you liked their work from the 20th century. I suppose a one off shouldn't work.

Won't be reading tomorrow fyi

Chores got the most of me this weekend. I tried to get something polished enough (and there's a small chance I will) for an open mic reading, but so far it's looking unlikely. But I do have some decent stories in the pipeline. Let's see where they go!

If You're in Georgia, Make Sure You're Voting. If not, Make Sure to GOTV

And not for the GOP. Holy crap I'm almost impressed by the mendacity of her entire spiel. Never answer the question, just say "I'm here to protect the American Dream." Call out Warnock on how he's a radical leftist, never bother to answer and repeat, repeat, repeat. Oh, and my favorite is "he'll have gov mandated healthcare (no, not a single dem with power is brave enough for that) and bankrupt medicare." That's the same thing, holy shit. That "keep your gov hands off my medicare" sign we all mocked at the tea party

ohhh Solid book I just started

But it has 3.5 stars. What's up people. Gingerbread is great and I like a lot more than Mr. Fox and though I liked Her short stories, Gingerbread is striking me as realer than that, even though it has more magic realism, if that makes sense. Well, we'll see if my love for it holds up. It's proven to be the perfect book after Memory Police which I was not a fan of (though I loved the beginning).
Let's see. I am trying to get a story ready for tomorrow for a reading. I'll share the deets later.
