To stimulate the creative side of my brain, I do writing exercises. There are many different methods of this but one of my favorites is to write down a word and then write what comes to mind next, and then again. “My daddy taught me to always do the right thing, no matter what the consequences. When I would ask how I was supposed to know what was right, he’d just say, ‘You’ll know.’ He was right, and so is this.”
Bruce A. Borders, Over My Dead Body

“An investigator, not an interrogator, is the best lie detector test available. The two, however, do go hand in hand. And being a detective, you will need to play both roles.” “So, as an interrogator, I should assume they are telling the truth?” “No. Never assume anything. Just ask the questions.” “What”
