Catherine Bird is an author, speaker, Bible teacher, and sometimes a reluctant homeschooling mama, who also loves being a wife and a mom and often struggles to find balance between them all. She is genuine and not without a sense of humor about her walk with Jesus, which includes plenty of bumps, stumbles, and falls. We serve a good and faithful God who asks for our love in return. Catherine is passionate about encouraging others to embrace this truth. To that end, throughout her ministry, she has worked with women, teens and tweens to encourage, empower and equip each in their own journey of faith.

Catherine is the author of The Art of Amen, Becoming a Girl of Grace: A Bible Study for Tween Girls & their Moms, Building Circles of Grace, A

Nothing and no one else can ever fill that space within us, and God did that on purpose. (less)

James, Friend or Foe?

Hello, friends.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I have been sitting in the Book of James since last March, slowly digesting verse by verse, word by word. I often find myself wondering, if James were sitting in front of me today, would we be friends?

Okay, this might be a strange thing to consider, but stay with me…

In case you need a quick refresher on who James was, he was Jesus’ younger half
