In fact, I don't know if I can say I've ever actually had writer's block. I have "writer's suck" instead. In other words, I can always sit down and write something. I've never just sat there and banged my head against the keyboard because nothing would come. However, sometimes what comes out of me truly and thoroughly sucks. I just keep putting crap words on the page until the badness bleeds out and then move past it.(less)

I think the best thing is the euphoria of creation. I love creating characters I fall in love with. I love letting my imagination go wild and come up with strange and bizarre lands that I then get to return to whenever I want. A very close second is when I talk to a fan and they are as giddy/happy about something I have written as I am. That is also a "best thing" about writing.(less)
