RWA Nationals!
I'm getting very excited as I'm going to my first ever Romance Writers of America National conference next week in Anaheim, Orange County USA!!
I'm also taking part in the Literacy signing- where hundreds of authors sell/sign their books and a portion of the revenue goes to the Proliteracy Worldwide charity. To find out more about this event, who's attending and who will be signing click here.
I've been to a few romance writing conference before- in Australia and New Zealand, but nothing on such a scale as this. There are over 2000 delegates, so I'm expecting a wall of noise, chaos of dizzying proportions and a good amount of fun.
So, catch up with my news when I'm back- early August!

Waking Up With His Runaway Bride OUT NOW!
So- *cue drum roll*
Book two is OUT!
Waking Up with His Runaway Bride has finally hit the shelves and I'm so excited! Already it has had some great reviews and I'm thrilled people are enjoying it.
See reviews here: mills and boon and here at romance book haven
Here's a picture of the fabulous Australia/NZ copy which is out in August! So be sure to look out for a copy!
I can't believe that this time last year I hadn't even received The Call- and yet here I am- two books out, another due in November...a fourth one in the revision stage and number five currently being planned.
It's been a heck of a year!

Down and dirty with Connor Wiseman
So, it's just about a week until book two hits the pre-release shelves.
Waking Up With His Runaway Bride
was a joy to write- and I hope you'll enjoy reading it too.
The lo-down on Connor Wiseman...
Paul Sculfor - Source Bang Showbiz
My inspiration for Connor was the delightful Paul Sculfor- well-dressed, sexy, sophisticated man about town.
Connor's ego was bruised when Mim ran out on him the night before their engagement party. Connor is not the type of man to cope with a bruised ego. So he takes great delight in finding himself in hicksville town, NZ to decide the future of Mim's rundown GP practice. He has a grudge to bear, an ego to rub and some retribution to find.
Connor is a rich kid from the right side of the tracks. He's strong, determined and uber-alpha.
Mim, on the other hand has a very dubious pedigree, has clawed her way up the professional ladder and is not about to give up on her failing business just yet. She has a feisty sense of humor and is ready to battle!
As you can imagine sparks fly.
Here is the back cover blurb:
Their make-or-break reunion...
Mim McCarthy needs to focus on saving her clinic—not her insufferable yet outrageously sexy ex Dr Connor Wiseman. He might have grown into those cheekbones, but she knows he won’t have forgiven his runaway fiancée so easily! Yet it’s impossible to deny the sparks between them – their fights used to be legendary, but their making up might be even more momentous…
There will be giveaways, there will be contests - just stay tuned either here or on Facebook to find out when and where!

Waking Up With His Runaway Bride
Seems my blogs at the moment are all about cover love- but I couldn't wait to show you all my most recent one. This is for Book Two- Mim and Connor's story, which is out in July in UK...not sure about the rest of the world...but I would imagine August.... As soon as I have a definite date, I'll let you all know!
But I digress...here it is:
So- verdict??????
I LOVE it- very HOT!!!!!
The Sydney Opera House in the smaller picture pertains to Fiona MacArthur's book, Marco's Temptation.
And, to be honest, I'm not sure which book the couple belongs to, but as this is my blog, I'm saying they're mine!!

Book Three SOLD!
Gosh! I'm so excited to announce that my third book- The Hero's Locked-Away Heart- has been bought by Harlequin Mills and Boon Medical Romance!
It will hit the shelves in November 2012!
Each sale is a total thrill, but this book is especially close to my heart. No cover or official blurb as yet, but I thought I'd give you a sneak preview:
War veteran, Adam Miller, doesn't believe in any kind of happy ever after and has moved to Atanga Bay resigned to a lonely existence. Local Practice Nurse Skye Williams has wanderlust racing through her veins and nothing can keep her in Atanga Bay- except......maybe the new paramedic?
Hop on over to my website www.louisageorge.com to read an excerpt!
