Exciting NEWS!
Huge apologies- things have been a bit quiet from me on the blog front- but I have a very good excuse! I’ve been working away at a new project, and thankfully can announce that this has paid off .
I have been offered a two book contract to write for the new Harlequin KISS line launching in US in February! This line is currently available in the UK and Australia/NZ, known as RIVA but will be available as ebook and paperback in stores in US too.
Its a fun flirty line that features largely urban settings, uber sexy irresistible heroes and heroines that are spirited and sparky.
I’m thrilled to have been offered this chance!
I will also continue to keep writing for the medical line- I have another 3 book contract there too. 2013 is going to be busy!
And, just in case you missed it- One Month to Become a Mum has just come out in Italian! So we had to have some Italian wine to celebrate!
If I don’t get a chance to speak to you again soon, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the support you have given me this year and to wish you a very happy and healthy holiday season!

War Hero Hits the Shelves!
After a month of pre-release from www.millsandboon.co.uk my third book, The War Hero’s Locked-Away Heart is available now in UK shops and in digital format.
Here’s my UK covers: I’m thrilled to be part of a 2-in-1 with lovely Aussie author, Fiona Lowe!
As we don’t always get our covers sent to us as quickly as we’d like, I did a bit of digging and look what I found! My Australian/NZ cover- this version will be in stores across Aussie and NZ in December. And what’s more, I’m in a 2-in-1 with my good friend Scarlet Wilson! What could be a better Christmas present?
Not sure which one is my favorite. Yours?

TITLES!!
I have a title for my fourth book due out in April 2013- simultaneous release across UK, US and Aus/NZ (apparently!)- so this is very exciting!
‘The Last Doctor She Should Ever Date’
This is the story of sports doctor Zac and reluctant debutante Danni. As soon as I have back-cover blurb from my editor I’ll post it here- and, of course, any whiff of a cover and that will be up too!
I also have a title for the French translation of ‘The War Hero’s Locked-Away Heart’- which is coming out in France on January 15th 2013 in a 2-in1 with the gorgeousy talented Melanie Milburne!
Any French readers out there?
Cheers!

Reasons to be cheerful!
spring color to make you smile!
I don’t know about you, but I’m always really glad when winter is over. I get tired of being cold (having to type in fingerless gloves is no fun!), and I hate dark mornings. So now that spring has sprung in my corner of the world I have reasons to be cheerful! My garden is getting colorful again (instead of just brown), the breeze is warm and days are longer.
I’m also feeling happier because I can take to the beach without a zillion layers. I popped down the other day for a walk and to ponder where my current manuscript was headed. Sometimes it’s useful, when you’re stuck, to have a change of scenery, or take some exercise. Going to the beach was a combination of the two and it worked. I’ve only 2000 words to go ’til I’m finished with this story. (Oh- and then there’s the editing). But I’m convinced hat that walk blew out the cobwebs and got my thinking about my story in a different way.
My local beach putting on a spring show
Then there’s my third reason to be cheerful. My third book, The War Hero’s Locked-Away Heart is coming out on pre-release on Monday. It’s available for a month before other sites on the fabulous Mills and Boon website.
Here’s a reminder of the cover! Smoking HOT! Now tell me- what are your reasons to be cheerful today?

Welcome to my New Home!
Many, many thanks to the fabulous Michelle, from www.webmatters.co.nz for creating this thing of beauty, and for answering all my inane questions!
I’d love for you all to let me know what you think, how we can improve if necessary and what you’d like to see here.
In the meantime, have a click around (you won’t break anything!), make yourselves at home!
Please sign up for regular updates, I’d hate to lose touch,

The War Hero…..super cover love
My third book- The War Hero’s Locked-Away Heart is due out in November.
I’m still waiting for the blurb from my editor but here’s a bit about the story-
This was a difficult book to write- ex-army medic Adam has got PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), he doesn’t want love, right? He just wants to be left alone.
Enter seriously fun Skye who just wants to spread her wings and fly. Falling in love certainly isn’t on her traveling schedule.
Drop by soon and there’ll be an excerpt up here too.
I’ve just found the cover for it on Amazon- what do you think?
I’m loving the sexy arms and his stubbled chin!!
Oh, and you get the chance to win five thousand pounds apparently!!!
I say go for it!

Release day!
It's available from most Warehouse and Whitcoulls stores - or online as an ebook from millsandboon.co.uk
I've been thrilled with the reviews so far- I even managed a ten out of ten out of notoriously difficult to please Rubcale
Here's a sample of some of the reviewer's comments...
"Well defined, easy-to-relate-to characters especially the compellingly sexy Connor and a modern day compelling plot as he and Mim struggle to overcome long standing problems make for an engrossing read." (Rubcale on Mills and Boon website)
"Louisa George brings this exceptional story alive for us on the pages. It is a gripping tale of second chances and past secrets. This story hooked me from the very first page and I wanted to know how it would all end."
WAKING UP WITH HIS RUNAWAY BRIDE is an emotionally satisfying story which will keep a reader engrossed from the very first page!" (Nas Dean on Mills and Boon website)
Here's the blurb:
Blurb:
Their make-or-break reunion... Mim McCarthy needs to focus on saving her clinic—not her insufferable yet outrageously sexy ex Dr Connor Wiseman. He might have grown into those cheekbones, but she knows he won’t have forgiven his runaway fiancée so easily! Yet it’s impossible to deny the sparks between them – their fights used to be legendary, but their making up might be even more momentous…
Still not sure you want to buy? Even after that introduction?
Well, I have a sneak preview for you if you click on the Waking Up... page above and read an excerpt!
