Connie Furnari nasce a Catania, il 6 Dicembre del 1976. Rivela fin da piccola la sua passione per i libri, cominciando a inventare storie non appena impara a scrivere.

Si laurea in Lettere, con una tesi di psicanalisi freudiana sul “racconto perturbante”: un’analisi su come il fantastico interagisca nella vita reale, in modo diverso da persona a persona, fin dalle fiabe, analizzando le tipiche storie dell’infanzia, da Andersen a Hoffmann.

Durante gli anni universitari, a Catania scrive per il giornale "Il Millantastorie": articoli vari e romanzi brevi, tra cui un racconto giallo dal titolo "Il volto celato", e le poesie "Innocente" e "Aspetto".
