I realise that I haven’t updated for a while,  so I just thought I would add this post to show some of my new paintings.  I will also be adding a post about  an Arts exhibition that I was involved in recently, so please look out for that.

A while back I posted about a dream that I had and posted what I thought God was speaking to me about in it.  You can look back at that post if y...

The Realm of the Purple Dragon (Science Fiction & Fantasy)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:34PM
Description: This story is very close to my heart because it is inspired by my daughter Ellenor and her love of console gaming. In this book she is the heroine in her own story, being taken through a portal in her bedroom into the Realm of the Purple Dragon, the console game she had been playing while home from school, sick. The Realm is in fact an enchanted world where the gods of Norse mythology are real and magic is around every tree and over every rainbow, the bridges are pretty special too and have a tendency to take you to more than just the other side of the water! She meets some extremely colourful characters (literally) and is given a bag of magic runes which can turn into all sorts of magical things or summon magical creatures to help her on her journey. This book is ideal for young teenagers and pre-teens taking their first tentative steps into the fantasy genre as well as even the most hardiest of Fantasy reader just adding to their collection. This story will delight and intrigue any fantasy adventurer from aged 10 to 100.

Unfortunately I haven't read it yet! As soon as I got my copy, my Mum nabbed it off of me and I haven't seen it since LOL - think I will have to buy another copy. Please feel free to join my poetry group on here - it doesn't see too much activity, but it is nice to share poetry and have a catch up on there. https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...
