Over the years, God rewrote Carrie’s dreams to include being a stay-at-home mom and a writer. She started by writing weekly devotions online before a mentor at the Christian Writer’s Guild encouraged her to try fiction.

After almost ten years in the military, Carrie’s husband medically retired and they now live in North Carolina with their three children. Besides writing fiction novels, she stays busy home schooling all three and keeping up with her extended family and friends.

Thanks for letting me know about the anthology. Looks like it's going to do a lot of good! My plate is very full right now, but I pray it is a blessing to many!

Danyelle Read Carrie, I loved your recent blog on rest. I too can testify that it's possible. It is akin to another concept that I love which is that what God says in His word is already done.
I have an opportunity in Christian fiction to let you know about. It's a Christian anthology that will benefit a non-profit, faith-based agency. If you have a short story of 5000 words, more or less, something excerpted and adapted from a previously published work, or something new you might want to share, it would be greatly appreciated. This is one way for Christian writers to gain exposure and give something to those in need, as well! http://edgychristianfiction.com/2015/...
