What Else Can You Do But "Embrace Change"
There isn't one person that won't have something happen in their life that will cause them to have to come to terms with some type of sorrowful “Change.” It may be the loss of a job, the ending of a relationship, a death, losing your home, financial difficulties, a medical problem, illness of a family member, or becoming a Caregiver. I know this is true, because it's happened to me.
Because of what I've been through, I am here sharing the new “Purpose” of my life with others. I've had a lot of sorrowful “Change” in my life. Some was not too bad, and some was horrendous, in fact it could have been debilitating.
We all will have to face “Change,” but it's how we do it that will make all the difference in the world. You can face it kicking and screaming, ignoring it, hoping it will go away, refusing to accept it, or you can do like I chose to do and “Embrace Change.” It has made my life so much easier in the long run. And in the end, it's really all you can do.
To “Embrace Change” we have to get to the point where we are not dwelling on the actual “Change” that intruded itself into our lives, or let it consume our every waking moment, conversation, and thought. Yes, talking about it is a healthy and helpful way to work through things, but it should be the starting point of our journey. A journey that will take us from our troubles of today, into our tranquility of tomorrow, and not become a victim that's held hostage by the storms of our past. Yes, we need to talk, but we also need to walk. And we need to keep walking until we reach our destination and “Embrace Change.”
Maybe you're having a difficult time starting your journey because you don't have someone in your life to talk to. Maybe you don't have someone in your life that wants to listen. Maybe you just need to know what you're feeling is not abnormal. Or maybe you just need a kick-start to get you on your way.
If you're reading this and see yourself in these words, then know that I am here for you. I have so many people that I counsel with online, but just know that I'm always willing to come to your group, meeting, organization, church, class, conference, etc., to give you, and others like you, that one on one connection with someone who's heart has a hole in it too. Through my book, music and sharing my interpretation of Life, Loss, Sorrow, and Grief you will also learn to “Embrace Change.”
Until the next time we talk......Stand firm on Philippians 4:13.
