The evil Dr. Holt wants money and he'll do just about anything to get it! Collin has to stop him, even though he is not getting paid to do so.

Hello again

I've been busy since I last posted here. I've compiled an inpirational book of short sermons - I like to call them Sunday messages - that I wrote and gave as the message on Sundays since 2007 when the minister was away. I asked my book cover illustrator to make a cover. She did a marvellous job, don't you think?

She chose to use the hands of a five year old child. How better to represent the love of God?
As soon as I can figure out how to turn it into an 'ePub' file it will be available here on goodreads. For now it is available for 99 cents at: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007A6DT8C.

Bye for now, Camellifolia

Hello again

Writing is not just the words in the story. Writing is also editing and publishing. Also, the book needs a cover. Originally I made a cover by using a public domain picture, some colorization and scribbled some words onto the picture with Microsoft Paint.

I thought it looked great. Then I saw other covers and realized that my cover didn't tell enough of my story. I made arrangements with an illustrator and now my cover tells the story of a young policewoman and the terrorist who invades her America.

It is a cool irony that the man dressed as a terrorist on the book cover is actually a New York City policeman. Here is a big THANK YOU to him and all who fight terrorism to keep us safe.

January 2, 2012

This is my first posting to my first blog. I am a new author. Capitol Terror is the title of my first novel. The idea came into my head and wouldn't leave until I wrote it down. It is about a terrorist attack on Washington D.C. This is something I think about a lot due to the fact that I have been living here a long time.

My favorite books to read are spy novels and no movie is complete in my opinion without at least one really big explosion. Chick lit and Chick flicks are not my thing. So I was very surprised to see myself writing about Alice and Raymond's lovelife in my novel. In fact now when I look back at it the romance is a big part of the story. It seemed inconsequential but entertaining while I was writing.

I am writing a second novel now. I hope to have it out this year. I doubt if I'll ever make it rich writing but I really love it. I hope you find my books and this blog (couldn't they have used a better name? Blog sounds dreadful) to be entertaining.

Bye for now, Camellifolia
