I've loved writing stories since the third grade when I created my first book as a class project. I've come a long way since then. I have several series published independently and some stand-alones via Paper Gold Publishing and Aces Press.

The Checkpoint, Berlin Detective Series: A detective series based in Berlin that follows the characters introduced in book one, Exposed: The Education of Sarah Brown. Exposed is a dramatic, steamy crime thriller in which a kidnapping unfolds leading Sarah and Kommissar Heinz from Berlin to Amsterdam in cooperation with Interpol to save a young boy. Book two, The Evolution of Elsa Kreiss follows Elsa, introduced in book one, as she changes careers from Berlin's premiere dominatrix to an officer in the Ger

It can also be simply switching off to one of the other lesser characters already introduced. You might not keep everything that you write from that trick, but it will definitely get your mind working and help develop new thought pathways.(less)

“I once had a substitute teacher in my 4th grade class that was wonderful. He said learning was like throwing mud on a wall. Some will stick, and some will fall off. But if you keep throwing the mud on the wall, eventually the whole wall will be covered in mud. I think writing is very much the same. You have to keep at it. Some will stick, and some will fall away, but you keep writing, and eventually, you've impacted thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of people with your vision.”

Michele Gwynn No stories anywhere make me do the 'ugly' cry like Nicholas Sparks's stories. The one that caught me unaware at the end was The Best of Me. I won't spoil it for you if you haven't seen it, but oh, my God! Have some tissue in hand. You'll need it.

Promod Sharma Thanks for connecting. To introduce myself I give below the link to my one of the recent blogs on wordpress.com;

Michele Gwynn Hello, sexy people! My book, Exposed: The Education of Sarah Brown is entered into a cover war contest, and I need voters. If you've read it, put it on your wishlist, or are just now looking at it and thinking "hmmn", then pop on over and help an erotic suspense author out. Your help is so appreciated! Hope you have a fabulous weekend.

Michele Gwynn I'm commenting on my own page because I simply wanted to congratulate my two winners on the Goodreads Giveaway of Exposed. Jessica and Mike...congrats! You'll be receiving your copies in the mail, and note, these are the first-run, self-published paperbacks. I've just now unpublished my book so it can be republished under the publishing house of Beau Coup LLC. New launch date to be announced, so stay tuned and look for your copies in the mail! If I make it big, they'll be collectors items....Thanks for participating.

Michele Gwynn Nothing is better than connecting with other authors and fans. The result of one such recent interaction was an interesting short story I recently penned. It all began with an online contest asking participants to write, in three lines or less, their best idea for a great sci-fi story. The winner received a copy of my book, Harvest, and credit with links to their own website in the story I wrote around their winning entry. Thanks to Brea Behn and a rather weird dream, Synthesis was born. http://michelegwynn.blogspot.com/2014...
