Parker was a juvenile nomad until his family settled in Henderson, Nevada. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard, later enrolling into the Coast Guard’s elite Helicopter Rescue Swimmer Program. He was one of only four members to graduate in his class.

In 2004, Parker was stationed at Air Station New Orleans. A year later, Hurricane Katrina nearly destroyed the Crescent City. He participated in countless daring rescues. These experiences fueled his desire to tell his stories.

Parker is currently stationed in Barboursville, WV with his wife, their two children and their faithful Basset Hound, Roxanne. He remains on active duty, serving his country as a Coast Guard Lieutenant.

Not a bad book. A little predictable and if you detach yourself from the real world a little it seemed semi-believable.

Okay. First let me say this...I'm a guy. There I said it. I'm a guy and I read 50 shades! There, now that's out of the way and we can move on with the review.

So this book started out promising. The first 1/4 of it was really well put together. Inter

Israel is on page 222 of 461 of Inferno: So far I'm disappointed with this book. I'm a huge Dan Brown fan but this book is dragging along like it has two concrete feet.

“We carry secrets under our skin like shrapnel. Our surface wounds heal, but the damage festers underneath while we worry what tiny pieces will work their way to the surface for the world to see.”
