Happy Monday!

It’s Monday and at my house, that means cleaning, vacuuming everywhere and collecting the trash. Why Monday, you ask? Well, trash day is on Tuesday so I have to put everything out. It’s gotten to be a habit. Yep. My house cleaning routine is dictated by my trash pick up schedule!

What about you? Do you schedule house cleaning around trash pick up?

Today is also a Happy Monday because I got the final draft on my cover for Texas Fandango, my February Novella, which is still in the Texas Montgomery Mavericks Series. For all you Drake Gentry lovers, this is his story! :) And the cover? OMG! Wonderful. What I love about Samhain is how willing the cover artists are to work with me to get a cover that I love and this time? Home Run! I can’t show you yet but I will.

Soon.

I promise.

Okay…the bedroom needs vacuuming, bed stripped, etc. Later!

Cover Reveal – Leah Braemel

Good buddy Leah Braemel has a new book coming November 11 from Carina Press. Today, I’m celebrating her release with a COVER REVEAL. Ready???

Slow Ride Home - Braemel

Gorgeous!!! Sexy!! Want to know a little more about the story that goes with the cover?

Losing his father was hard enough, but now Ben Grady must face the fact that he and his brother may not be sole owners of their beloved ranch. To protect his family’s legacy, he’s forced to rely on the legal prowess of the woman who stars in his erotic fantasies: Allie O’Keefe. Ben’s never forgotten the illicit encounter they shared fifteen years ago—or forgiven himself for letting her go.

Allie thought she’d moved beyond the scandal that cost her Ben in the past. But working so closely with the seductive rancher arouses the wild child within the cautious woman she’s become. Though she tries to keep business and pleasure separate, Allie soon gives in to temptation, and discovers Ben’s sensual skills surpass even her X-rated memories…

Allie has every intention of leaving Bull’s Hollow forever after her investigation is complete. But there are a few complications. Not the least of which is that while saving the ranch, Allie’s lost her heart.

Ready to preorder? Here are the links:

Don’t forget to leave a review!!

Good luck, Leah! Sounds awesome.

Author Inspiration for Texas Fandango

I think readers have mixed emotions about seeing a book’s hero from the view of the author…meaning, I keep a picture of the hero and heroine off the side on my screen when I write. I like to look at them and “see” them as I tell their story.

In my first book, Drake Gentry stole the hearts of many readers, even though he wasn’t the hero. In fact, at the time I wrote Texas Two Step I didn’t know Drake would get his own story. But he did and it’s coming out Feb. 2, 2014.  The title is TEXAS FANDANGO.

But then I thought maybe you would like to see Drake as I saw him while writing Texas Fandango.

What do you think? You willing to go on an all expense 2-week vacation with him? That was the decision my heroine had to make.

It wouldn’t be a hard decision for me! How about you?

TexasTango72webI’m going to try something special for the second book in the Texas Montgomery Mavericks Series! To celebrate the upcoming release of TEXAS TANGO, I’m doing a “GOODREADS ONLY” giveaway.

For every 50 “want-to-read” adds, I’ll give one person either a TEXAS TANGO OR a TEXAS TWO STEP T-shirt. Their choice! In their size! All prizes will be ordered at the end of the contest so no small T-shirts going to a someone who needs an XL or larger! (don’t you hate to win a T-shirt that’s too small?)
