Lapsos volume I is going to be published in english this fall by C’est Bon Kultur (Sweden) and will be debuting at the Helsinki Comics Festival. This book will contain all 3 issues (plus extra content!) in hardcover and will be printed partly in colour and partly in duotone (blue and neon red). I’m super excited to be able to finally announce this! More details coming soon…

This is a page (containing 4 pages) that I used to sketch out CS. This is pretty much how I plan my comics, I start out by writing ideas and then I put those ideas into these horrible thumbnail pages which are almost unreadable (even to myself). I’m just really impatient and can’t stand to put any more into the sketches than this. From this I go straight to the final pencils (which I don’t even ink). But yeah, at least I do have a process ok?! I’m not like that Patrick Kyle…….. ; ^ P

Anyway, I was planning on doing a zine with a bunch of these for CAKE (I have many, many of these pages…) but being realistic there’s not enough time and also…. why would I even want to make a zine of this… I’d rather have you buying my finished comics !!!!!!

Also the point of sharing this is that, if you want to do comics, just do them however you want!! enjoy your process, don’t stress about the final outcome. Your first comics are most probably going to be shit, but even if they suck nothing sucks more than not doing anything…

I’ve been asked to sell prints for a long time now and I finally got my shit together to do it! These are the pieces I’m making as 8x10 in prints for CAKE. It’s a pretty varied selection,… can you tell they’re from different years? The oldest one is from 2008…

You might recognize some from my stickers, but others will be released exclusively as prints. I will also put them for sale at my webshop after I come back from Chicago! They will be available for $6 each or two for $10.

We also received a package from Inés Estrada with her new book Traducciones, Issues 2 and 3 of Lapsos, and Andina which is a small collection of comics she made while traveling in Peru
