I have published a short-story collection titled SEX PLAY. One of those stories features Marjorie and Seton from THE DOM OF MY DREAMS. Can you guess which one? :)

It also has a sample chapter of my new upcoming novel titled THE LURE OF THE NIGHT. I would appreciate your support in this new project and I promise to update this page more often.

Happy reading!

In THE DOM OF MY DREAMS, Seton has beautiful green eyes.  At the time, to me green was the most piercing and stunning shade in eyes.  My fascination to that particular eye color was so intriguing to me at the time that the hero couldn’t NOT have green eyes.  Well, that, my friends, is a thing of the past.  I have a new obsession: brown eyes.  Puppy-dog brown eyes that are as dreamy as they are smoldering and penetrating.
I bet you’re wondering, why the sudden fascination with brown eyes?  Brown eyes in men have always been considered intense and sexy, but I’d somehow failed to notice them until recently.  Before you ask, yes, a man is responsible for my recent discovery.  This man has made me a believer of dark, penetrating eyes.  This man is beautiful, period, and I cannot help myself but long to look into those eyes again and again.  The male character in my next book will possess such eyes.  In fact, he will be the splitting image of the real-life possessor of those brown eyes.  I’ve been bewitched, not unlike the way Marjorie Fordham is bewitched by Seton.  This man—we'll call him "D.V."  is the real-life Seton, minus all the yummy stuff Marjorie goes through in the book.  You think unrequited love only exists in books?  Think again.  Read THE GREAT GATSBY if you haven’t already.  The story’s “green light” and how it mirrors Gatsby’s hopes and dreams about the unobtainable ring true at this point in my life.
Well, enough of that.  On a different note, I’ve finally caved and bought FIFTY SHADES OF GRAY.  I’ll finally see what all the fuss is about.  Until we read again!

I thought I had the perfect title for my novel.

It's had the same title since I wrote it three years ago.  But now that I've finally decided to self-publish it through the Kindle, I can't help but wonder if the title is catchy enough.  THE DOM OF MY DREAMS is the name.  It's a BDSM erotica, pretty dark around the edges, but also romantic.  I ask myself, is the title a good representation of the book?  Does it sound too romance-like?  Too vanilla.  I'll tell you one thing, my story is definitely not vanilla.

I've thought about changing it to POWER PLAY.  Hmmm.  A common title.  A few erotic novels and stories have had it.  Should I sacrifice originality and settle for something "catchy"?

A dilemma indeed.  Perhaps I should just do this: THE DOM OF MY DREAMS: A BDSM NOVEL.  That should do it, right?  Only time will tell.[image error]
