Windy City writer Elizabeth Marx brings cosmopolitan flair to her fiction, which is a blend of romance and fast-paced Chicago living with a sprinkle of magical realism. In her past incarnation she was an interior designer--not a decorator--which basically means she has a piece of paper to prove that she knows how to match and measure things and can miraculously make mundane pieces of furniture appear to be masterpieces. Elizabeth says being an interior designer is one part shrink, one part marriage counselor and one part artist, skills eerily similar to those employed in writing.
Elizabeth grew up in Illinois and has also lived in Texas and Florida. If she’s not pounding her head against the wall trying to get the words just right, you can

Hi Eli,
Yes I plan to, it's outlined but it's not written yet. I'm still thinking through a few a of the plot lines and working on the title. What do you think of Black Orchid for the title? It's the name of the nightclub where Tony and Evita meet and the flower has a special meaning. Thanks for asking,

Also Aidan and Libby will be secondary characters in another book set in Chicago about a race car driver and an interior designer. No title yet!

Tom Blubaugh Hi Elizabeth,

Thank you for joining my circle of friends.

Blessings,

Tom

lizparker Binding Arbitration is one of my all time favorite books- I think I read it at least 15 times. I am dying to find out some answers to some of the loose ends in BA. Will there be other novels to answer them? Pretty please with sugar on top!

( For example...what happened with Espinoza? Did Evita get Manny back? What about Avery and Ollie? What were the babies names? Did Libby really forgive her mother? Did she ever talk to her father again? How's Aidan's arm? Is he still going to be a baseball player with the twins born?...)

Dianne Hi There! Thank you for being my friend. I have to say I completely fell in love with Aidan. Not so much in Cutters vs. Jocks but he grew on me in Blind Arbitration. I have to say your books made me bawl like a baby and were completely heartbreaking. I wish we get to hear more from Aidan and Libby. However, I can't wait for you to write more contemporary romances!
