When Jan makes a pivotal decision to drop out of college and to go to massage school, Jan loses her parents' financial support.

Jan has always had boyfriends. However, under these dire financial circumstances, she decides to give up on having boyfriends and focus on herself.

This book is set in San Diego. The story is peppered with the dynamics of Jan's relationships with her eclectic group of friends and her parents.

I recommend this book. I read it quickly and hope for a sequel!

Foreign oil costs over $100 a barrel and even though the NY company could sell the oil for $100 a barrel, if more domestic companies can produce oil for $10 a barrel than competition will bring prices down significantly, plus cost less for transportation.
