It's always scary when you upload your book to a new website, especially one as huge as Amazon.com. But I am happy to see I'm getting some sales, positive reviews and good ratings for "Between Boyfriends." I am particularly fond of a review that just came in:

I am good friends with the author and I have read some of the works she has done. I downloaded this off of barnesandnoble.com for NOOK for my Android and I have to say, I have gotten to the middle of Chapter 4 and get deeper into Jan's daily transformations. When I am able to take a few minutes or so out of my hectic days to read another page or two, I get really antsy wondering what is going to happen to Jan next. I have found a bit of humor, revenge, and strength in Jan and she is also a fighter.
With this book being an eBook, it is totally PORTABLE and you can read it when you wait in line at Starbucks, the grocery line, stop lights (like I have) and anytime you need to "do something" for those short stalls in your day. You get to follow Jan as she becomes more of an independent woman and get over her ex and "give up on dating" as she calls it. It takes place in San Diego where I live and I am familiar with some of the locations mentioned and that was surprising.
I can't wait to read another few pages on my NOOK copy to find out what Jan is thinking next....get a copy for your mobile, Tablet. NOOK, Kindle, iPad or whatever device you use to read books and publications. You will not be disappointed!!

Holiday Gifts
E-readers make excellent holiday gifts. Load some books before you give them out so people can use them right away. Otherwise they are useless, like a video game system without a game.

Sequel
Some of you already know that I recently spent a month in Thailand doing research for the "Between Boyfriends" sequel. There were some awful floods while I was there and I was very lucky to have not been directly affected, except that I had to take a bus from Chiang Mai back to Bangkok, and let me tell you the buses are no picnic. Still I was very fortunate and I am very grateful. As Thanksgiving is approaching I am becoming more and more aware of how lucky I am. I am sure this will color my character's attitude as I work on the sequel over the holidays. Luckily Jan has reason to take stock of her life and learn some appreciation as well.
