F (Feather) Stone: On our cattle ranch, when an animal was in distress or injured, I was put in charge of nursing it back to health. Never mind that I was just a kid and hated the sight of blood, but I had to muster up the courage to apply home remedies. My survival rate was pretty good. It seemed like a foregone conclusion that I would progress to nursing – humans. After one year into nurses training, I bolted. Bed pans and chronic diseases pushed me in different direction; a career of dealing with drug addicts, murder, suicide, fatalit

The production of Forbidden's book trailer took a lot of patience and perseverance. I had a specific sound in my head for the music. It took several months of hunting but finally found exactly what I was looking for; Igge Scoce's sound tracks are amazing. I made several drafts of images and captions; and sought feedback from my beta groups. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. :)(less)

I love going to movies - or used to when it was worth the parking fee and ticket & popcorn. The last movie I saw in the theatre that had me riveted to my seat was War Horse. Before that, hmm, it was probably more than a year. Some other movies probably were worth seeing, but, if I can wait to see them on my itsy tv screen, I'll pass. Other movies need to be seen on the big screen, even IMAX, to really appreciate the scenes and action. Like Avatar. Awesome. Wish I wrote Avatar. Perhaps a movie producer will pick up my novel, Forbidden.

There are mega plans coming up. I could give you some hints, but you really don’t want me to ruin the surprise, do you? One of activities I have missed doing is reading novels about to be launched, and posting my review. The first novel on my schedule (September 1st, 2018) is the Former Assassin … Continue reading Romance Under Fire – Returning to Blaze a New Trail Read more of this blog post »

The Guardian's Wildchild (Mystery & Thrillers)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:36PM
Description: Caught in a reckless attempt to stop Dark forces, Sidney Davenport, a young, rule breaking, spirited member of the secret paranormal community of Guardians, finds herself imprisoned on a naval ship and slated for execution. Her struggle with the unfamiliar emotions of fear and anger becomes even more complicated when she can no longer fight her attraction to the very man who has orders to perform her execution. Captain Sam Waterhouse, a meticulous naval captain who’s suspected of treason, teeters on a precipice between Darkness and Light. When he receives an unusual prisoner, a paranormal journey begins to unravel his disciplined life. All the while, humanity is unknowingly at great risk when two Dark forces team up to acquire control of an elusive power. Sidney and Sam attempt to quiet their powerful feelings for each other, only to discover they can save each other, and in doing so, they might even save the world. Through stunning imagery, an intricate and adventurous plot, and a strong cast of characters, Feather Stone gives readers a fascinating glimpse into the future—a future that is chilling, yet full of hope.
