Highlords of Phaer is done

I have finished the first draft of Highlords of Phaer and should have it in my editor's hands next month. I'm very excited to share it. It is an introduction to what I think is an exciting world with some great stories. I also finished the newly edited version of The Sorcerer's Destiny. I have finally gotten the entire series edited. It was  a lot of work and money, and I hope everyone finds that it was worth it. I might send out a few pre-release copies in exchange for reviews come publishing time. Highlords of Phaer is almost done!

Just finished the main story of Highlords of Phaer. All I have to do now is go through and clean up that last few chapters (that I wrote first) so they flow properly, and write the few chapters of the secondary story arc and I'm done with the first draft. With any luck I'll have it done by next weekend and off to my editor in July.

Who is ready to expirence some Phaer?

I am nearly complete with the first draft of Highlords of Phaer and am very excited. It is an intro into what I hope to be a fascinating world with many great stories.

Going pro

I have decided to send in my entire Sorcerer's Path series to be professionally proofed. It's time to stop using my ameteur status as an excuse for releasing best than the best work I can muster. It will take several months, possibly up to a year, to complete. That probably doesn't mean much to those who have already read it, but at least my new readers will enjoy the highest quality I can produce. It also allows me to finally get the entire series in print.

Primacy of Darkness

The Agent has been out for a few weeks now. I am currently working on the third installment of my Brooklyn Shadows series called Primacy of Darkness. I've already reached over 50,000 words, so it is well on its way. I hope you like the series. I enjoy writing it. As always, feel free to post any questions or comments here or on my FaceBook page.

I am terrible at this

Sorry for the page neglect. I have finished The Agent and am waiting on some beta readers to get back to me before publishing. I have already started writing the third book of my Brooklyn Shadows series and am off to a great start. I'm torn on a title. More than a year ago, when I began kicking the plot around, I had a title "Noctivagant". But now I'm thinking of doing a spinoff and that would make for a better title for that series. I'm thinking about using "Shadows of the Past" for this book. Leo faces not just Jack the Ripper, but a ghost from his past.

Transcended update

Good news! (Maybe). My current book is too large for a single volume. I'm at 120k words and just getting started on the third part, so I have decided to start cleaning up the manuscript to the first two parts to be bound in a single book. It is the only way I am going to be able to get a book out before next year. I just hope it doesn't flub so bad no one reads the second one.

When it comes to social media, I fail horribly at multitasking. It is all I can do to maintain a Facebook page. My next book, Transcended, is over 106k words now. While this would normally be nearing its conclusion for my other works, this one is a bit different. Transcended is basically three books in one. I expect it to reach near 200k words by the time I finish, hence the time it is taking me to write it. I plan to hire a proofreader, so that will add at least two months to the production time. I hope it is worth the wait. It is vastly different than what I have written int he past. It is about the character and not supported by frequent action scenes. I hope the character portrayal and dialogue is enough to keep readers' hooked.

The Sorcerer's Vengeance error

It appears that something happened to book 4's manuscript. Amazon had an old edition published instead of the newer one. I don't know if I made the mistake or they somehow rolled back an edition. I have uploaded the new manuscript. I believe the biggest change was removing a scene between Sandy and a couple of characters whose only purpose was some humor.
