Thomas Pluck has slung hash, worked on the docks, trained in martial arts in Japan, and even swept the Guggenheim museum (but not as part of a clever heist). He hails from Nutley, New Jersey, home to criminal masterminds Martha Stewart and Richard Blake, but has so far evaded capture. Wallace Stroby called his novel BAD BOY BOOGIE "a vivid dose of New Jersey noir with heart, soul and muscle.“

Joyce Carol Oates calls him “a lovely kitty man.”

He is also the editor of the Protectors anthologies to benefit PROTECT: The National Association to Protect Children.

You can find him on the web at www.thomaspluck.com and Twitter as @thomaspluck

Noir at the Bar NYC 7/14 and NEcon

[image error]This July I’ll be reading at Noir at the Bar Manhattan with a gaggle of great writers. I’ll be reading a new excerpt from RiffRaff, the next Jay Desmarteaux novel. It’s at Shade, a cozy neighborhood bar right off Washington Square, where Anderson Cooper goes for savory crepes, and ThugLit Daddy Todd Robinson is often behind the stick. Come join us, it is always a fun time, and look at the roster!

July 1...

A great read, perhaps my favorite of the 3 art-themed anthologies LB has edited. And I'm in the second one!
