Perfect holiday magic! I’m already a huge fan of Christina Lauren, and I love anything that has to do with Christmas. In the midst of so much uncertainty and stress, this book was like a warm mug of cocoa In front of the fire. The beautifully subtle m ...more |

“Can I..." He stopped and his jaw flexed. "Can I kiss you?"

“Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it. I answer all my children’s letters — sometimes very hastily — but this one I lingered over. I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote, “Dear Jim: I loved your card.” Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.” That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything. He saw it, he loved it, he ate it.”

“I said anything I wanted because I don't believe in children I don't believe in childhood. I don't believe that there's a demarcation. 'Oh you mustn't tell them that. You mustn't tell them that.' You tell them anything you want. Just tell them if it's true. If it's true you tell them.”

“I cry a lot because I miss people. They die and I can't stop them. They leave me and I love them more.”

“Then the carousel started, and I watched her go round and round...All the kids tried to grap for the gold ring, and so was old Phoebe, and I was sort of afraid she's fall off the goddam horse, but I didn't say or do anything. The thing with kids is, if they want to grab for the gold ring, you have to let them do it, and not say anything. If they fall off, they fall off, but it is bad to say anything to them.”

Thank you so much for your kind words ;)!! I am definitely planning other books about these guys in the future. Thank YOU for your friendship <3!!

I got invited to be a part of your blog tour. So I am glad that I got the chance to read it :D My review will be going up tomorrow. I want to get my hands on Junk Miles now :P

It would be awesome if you checked out Double Clutch! Jellicoe is amazing...but stick with it. For the first bit I was so confused and not sure at all where it was going. I stuck with it, and am SO happy I did!
Thanks for accepting my friend request!
