Shaklee Saturday's Featured Product: Basic H2® Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate

This little 16 oz bottle creates an unbelievable 48 gallons of super-safe, really powerful, uber-concentrated all-purpose cleaner. As a matter of fact, one bottle of Basic H2 (just $10.35*!) equals the cleaning uses of 5,824 bottles of 26 oz. Windex® (about $2/bottle).

You can use it any time to clean just about everything ... from spilled milk, to bug guts on the window, to splattered

You Must A-S-K to G-E-T

That's right, folks.  You don't get what you don't ask for, but when polled, professionals rank "asking for business" right up there with getting a root canal or delivering a speech, naked, in Macy's window, at Noon time. In fact, most would rather do the latter. (How do I know? I just do.)

Rather than asking for the business, they make assumptions. They assume their friends, family,

Thankful Thursday: I'm Grateful for SHAKLEE (or, I don't have the flu because of these products!)

Since 1976, I've been an avid Shaklee user.

A Young Dr. Shaklee

I take Shaklee vitamins every day, use the laundry, personal care and cleaning products. After almost 40 (yes, really, 40 ... yikes!) years of using the products, it's safe to say I love them and couldn't live without them.

But today in particular, I'm really grateful. The flu hit my 13-year-old daughter Lexi like a Mack

Top Ten Tuesday: Honorée's Top 10 Business Growth & Development Books

Leaders are Readers. They are well-read and constantly feeding their minds with positive, uplifting and educational information. Spend at least 20 minutes a day feeding your mind -- could be in the morning, or if you really want to be an achiever, do it twice a day.

If you're just getting started, or you're old-hat but want a good reminder, here are a few of my favorites:

My Shaklee Anti-Flu Cocktail

My daughter got the flu. I took excellent care of her, but didn't get it myself (it was a close, though). With the help of these products, I'm healthy and well enough to write this post to help you avoid the flu, too.

Note: She's now convinced that she should do what her mom says, which is "take your vitamins every day." *Smile.

Get Your Goals

It's the beginning of the year and you can't read a newspaper, magazine or watch a morning talk show without hearing about New Year's Resolutions and goals. Why do they work? Why don't they work? How do you set them? What worked for this person or that? Do I keep them in my head or do I have to write them down? Most importantly, what is going to make the goals you set become the goals you

Creative Networking (and a prize for your creative thinking)

I've spent the better part of 2008 (see UPDATE below) hosting a luncheon called The Ladies Who Power Lunch. The idea was born from all the smack talk about the economy. While I'm not a fan of whining, complaining or doom predicting, I am a huge fan of coming up with creative ways to not participate in any down economy, to continue to experience increases in my business - and in this case, the

P is for Productive

Have you ever noticed that the day before vacation is a day when your productivity is off the charts? You make a "to do" list, and then focus intensely until each and every item has been crossed off. You're not distracted by people who stop by your office to chat, you don't randomly surf the internet or check what's happening at CNN.com. Everything gets done and you're on the plane as it
