Description:
This is one of my favorite poems. When I met my husband I was working a full time and a part time job. The part time job was in the evenings and weekends at a donut shop. Shortly after we had met, he surprised me at work and offered me a ride in his Sky (Saturn). He followed me home so I could change out of my work clothes, and this poem was born from that experience.

When I met my current husband starting over and getting married again at age 59 was the farthest thing from my mind. But, when you find someone who loves you for who you are, and doesn't care that age has, shall we say, altered your body, how can one not love that person in return? This poem is how I felt and how he makes me feel.
