What Matters (Poetry)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:32PM
Description: This is a favorite poem, although a sad one. Getting divorced after 32 years does things to your soul and heart.
What A Surprise (Professional & Technical)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:32PM
Description: This is one of my favorite poems. When I met my husband I was working a full time and a part time job. The part time job was in the evenings and weekends at a donut shop. Shortly after we had met, he surprised me at work and offered me a ride in his Sky (Saturn). He followed me home so I could change out of my work clothes, and this poem was born from that experience.
Spell Check (Poetry)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:32PM
Description: When I met my current husband starting over and getting married again at age 59 was the farthest thing from my mind. But, when you find someone who loves you for who you are, and doesn't care that age has, shall we say, altered your body, how can one not love that person in return? This poem is how I felt and how he makes me feel.
Dancing In The Moonlight (Poetry)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:32PM
Description: This is a true story and a fond memory. It was when I held my first born granddaughter in my arms. I now have 5 grandchildren. :)
Collectible Things (Select)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:32PM
Description: I was riding up High Street in Columbus, OH one day and saw several old men sitting at picnic tables outside an apartment complex. This is what inspired this poem. There is something sad about that secene, like they were just hanging out, waiting to...
