Diana Raab Many psychotherapists suggest writing healing poems. In my latest Psychology Today article, I share a few tips on how to get started.

Diana Raab This is the time of year when I reflect a lot about my father and his influence on my life. Diana Raab In the writing workshops I teach, I advocate that writing can save your life. Using my own life as a compass, I suggest that when navigating difficult waters, we all need something to turn to—whatever tempers our stress levels. For some people, it might be exercise; for others it might be talk therapy. But for writers like myself, it’s about cracking open the journal or turning on my computer to create a story. Checkout my latest Psychology Today article to learn how to use writing to transform yourself.

message 11: by Diana

Diana Raab A recent birthday celebration reminded me of the importances of goddesses in our lives. We are different goddesses depending upon where we are in the life cycle. Athena, for example, puts career first, Hera puts marriage first, Artemis is the goddess of the hunt and saves other women and Aphrodite is the sensual lover. The wise woman arrives later in life. In my latest Psychology Today article , I discuss goddesses, their origins, and their roles.
