Timing is everything
It's never too early to subscribe.
Bonus: Happy Poetry Month, fools! To celebrate, why don't you click over and visit with my poetess friends?
Carlotta Stankiewicz writes delightful poetry over at The Well Versed Mom. You should just go ahead and subscribe by email while you're there, because if you miss a poetic post, it's entirely your loss.
Blythe Jewell blogs at The Bean and has published Something Smells Like Pee And Other Classy Observations. Yes, she goes there. And let's face it, you're right there with her. These poems are close to home, friends. Pick it up and laugh so you don't cry.
For a bitter laugh, take a look at To What Miserable Wretches Have I Been Born?: Revenge Poetry for Babies and Toddlers by Suzanne Weber. Can you tell by the title how annoyed I am that I didn't think of it? Suzanne is judging a #suburbanhaiku contest on twitter later this month, so get to know her and love her. Or face the consequences. (I don't know what they are, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to be good.)
Oh, and there's one more book I think you might like. What was it again? Oh yeah.

Funny is Family explains why her dog isn't a big fan of my book, and gives you a chance to win a copy even though she is being very selfish with hers.
And now for something completely different (but the same, because giveaway): The incomparable Wendi Aarons and I are giving you the lowdown in You're Almost Middle Aged! Questions About Your Changing Body. You can't handle the truth. Can you?

Again with the book cover? Bonus: I have a few updates on my continuing quest to take over the whole entire internet.
First, Anne Parris at Midlife Boulevard reviews the new book and compares me to Erma Bombeck. You can just click on over to see whether it's a favorable comparison. Or not.
Next up, Dana at Kiss My List asked me questions, and I answered, entirely in haiku. And if that's not enough to make you curious to click through, her teenage daughter comes through with an eyeroll and haiku smackdown.
Finally, Ann Imig, the force of nature behind Listen To Your Mother, is giving away a copy of the book to a lucky commenter on her hilarious Where I Live Wednesday linkup on Ann's Rants.
I think that'll do it, don't you?
