I love watching classic black-and-white movies, especially film noir with snappy dialog. While immersed in writing I lose track of time before I realize half the day is gone and I haven't made the bed! I grew up in the foothills beneath the iconic Hollywood sign, the daughter of best-selling author and screenwriter, Irving Shulman. I attribute my love of writing to him. I always knew I wanted to be a writer “when I grow up.”

I’ve now written four novels. Countless hours and many months were devoted to researching Chinese culture and customs in order to write “Good Fortune” and its sequel "Golden Ring Of Light."
