Yes, I mostly write mystery, which is why I call myself The Grandma Moses of Mystery. Although I'd previously published short stories and articles, my first book was published a month before my eightieth birthday. (The original Grandma Moses was an American folk artist who began painting in her late seventies.) Right now, my count is six books, all mysteries but one which is a non-fiction retelling of a young knucklehead working in Alaska for college money. (Said knucklehead was my father.)
