Lauren Gilbert lives in Florida with her husband. An avid reader, she has always dreamed of writing. HEYERWOOD: A Novel is her first novel. She is also a contributor to CASTLES, CUSTOMS, AND KINGS: TRUE TALES BY ENGLISH HISTORICAL FICTION AUTHORS, to be released 9/23/13.

HEYERWOOD was reviewed in the November 2011 issue #333 of RT BOOK Reviews:
"Heyerwood is written in the true Regency style. The pace is slow, which allows the reader to fully absorb the descriptive text within the novel. You will fall in love with the characters...

Gritty, dark, it moves well and holds the interest. Please note, I was given a free copy. This review is my honest opinion of this book.

Fantastic book! Well written, excellent historical detail, and characterizations. I've read all of her Peninsular series, of which this is the first, and the 2 Manxman books (which tie in with the Peninsular series), and highly recommend them all.
